MangaUpdates not appearing in Google results

Something wonky is going on with MangaUpdates in Google search results.
This is what I get from Google accessed from the US, results may vary for other countries. If you get different results from another country, please share.
"mangaupdates planetes" does not show the MU website in any of the 10 pages. This is usual for most "mangaupdates + term" searches I've tried.
"mangaupdates yotsubato" shows the MU website, though not with the yotsuba series page as first result, but rather as MU series pages with recommendations for yotsuba.
"hirayasumi manga" shows the "MU Latest Releases" on the 3rd page. "hirayasumi mangaupdates" does not show mangaupdates in any page.
"mangaupdates" shows some MU series pages, not the front page.
"site:mangaupdates.com" searches produce results as expected.
I hope this is just a horrible SEO problem that is fixable from MangaUpdates's end, and not Google deliberately hiding the website 😢

The same thing is happening for me and I was looking for a thread about it. Normally I search the "title + baka" and the manga info shows but it's not showing up anymore.

The same is happening to me since yesterday, and I'm not from America.
Gigablast works, thanks @transdude1996

I already wanted to make a thread about this myself since I am also affected. I'm not in the US so I think this is a global issue.
It doesn't seem as though mangaupdates itself is blacklisted on google. Searching simply for "mangaupdates" will result in a number of titles being found, but searching these titles specifically, like "working!! mangaupdates", will yield only random pages. The same happens to author pages as well.
I first noticed this "bug" two days ago on the 5th.

Have you guys tried separating the quotation marks, then the plus sign then the quotation marks again for the titles you intend to search? Such as:
"mangaupdates" + "Planetes"

Hi, I've checked our analytics for the past two days and I can confirm that something odd started occurring two days ago. Our traffic from Google clicks has significantly decreased. I will investigate.
As far as your search examples, I can't seem to replicate your results. Typing in those search queries I get each one as the first result as expected.
Thank you for letting me know.

The issue has seemingly fixed itself already. I am able to search normally again.
I guess google was fucking around with their search engine.

On a related note, I never get mangaupdates in my google search results unless I explicitly add "mangaupdates" to the query. Is there anything I can do to make it appear more often (i.e. make the website have more priority)?
I had a slight MU related issue with google yesterday but "planetes mangaupdates" leads to the right link at the top and every single link on page 1 also leading to MU. No issues in Germany to report.
Displaying the "results from mangaupdates.com" function still works too as google can easily search inside pages.
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

Unfortunately I'm not an SEO expert. If you have suggestions, I'm willing to implement them.
