Hi guys,

I would like some suggestions on mangas where the female lead pretends to be a boy for whatever reason. No hentai or yaoi please! I would also prefer it to not be a shounen manga... It would also be interesting if the girl had some sort of gender disorder that makes her believe that she is a boy! ROMANCE PLEASE!

Thanks,
Jo-Chan
😀 😀 😀

Claudine...! but it's 😢 and shoujo-ai

On a lighter note, PrincessKnight. She is a girl who has both a girl's heart and a boy's heart. She knows she is a girl, but when her girl's heart is magically removed, she thinks she is a boy. Not in scanlation, but available in two English volumes.

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for all you're replies! Although many of these I have read, I still really appreciate it! Too bad that the ones I really want to read are still being scanlated -_-''. Bu to well~~~

Thanks,

I second: Houou Gakuen Misoragumi
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
1/2 Prince
My Boyfriend is a Vampire
Oresama Teacher - doesn't lean too heavily on romance.

Also there's: Boy of the Female Wolf and GIRL (Hwang Mi Ri) - and lots of others by Hwang Mi-Ri
Kaichou wa Maid-Sama - sometimes for events she dresses as a boy but it is rare, also there is a cross-dressing side character
Himitsu no Himegimi Uwasa no Ouji
AAA
Shinshi Doumei † - a supporting character cross-dresses and gets involved in a relationship
Uwasa no Midori-kun!!

Sorry to say but I don't think I know any with gender disorders.
There are a lot more, but those mainly have cross-dressing side characters who aren't romantically involved.

Song of the Long March. As a bonus, her reason for cross dressing is more believable than what you usually find

Yeonmo
Houkago Hokenshitsu

But I'd suggest you to try advanced search with Gender Bender and Romance checked and maybe some additional categories such as Androgynous Protagonist or Crossdressing depending on what exactly you want. 😳

Love Sick is also a girl to guy. Girl goes to an all boys school to seek help for her revenge. (Less girly and sparkly but still has the romance)
