Hi looking for Mangas where addiction is the central topic
The addiction can be ANYTHING:
Drugs
Alcohol
Sex
Gambling
Video Games
Confidential Confessions was a good example of a characters struggle with drugs......
Once again I'd prefer if the central character was female but it doesn't really matter..

Eden---its not a central topic but its a very important subject in the manga and one or two arcs are completely devoted to showing characters struggling with this drug addiction, failing to take care of their children, deaths have occured due to this and even the main characters, both male and female are affected by drug addiction at some point. One of the central figures in the manga is also a drug lord.

Genshiken is a humorous and satirical take on manga / anime addiction.

Wild Adapter - Even though I don't really know whether drug-addiction is the main theme.
The characters in The World is Mine are kind of 'addicted' to killing- I don't know if you'll like it.
Most of these manga have male leads, though - sorry about that.
