Where the main character dies...

Or everyone thinks that they're dead. I am looking for a manga where the main character dies at the end(so the manga should probably be finished) or everyone thinks they're dead in the end. Any genre is fine, Romance is essential. I prefer female leads but male leads are fine too, but guy or girl, they have to be strong characters 😀 I also like epic storylines or just plain good storylines.
So yes, any takers?

I second Haou Airen and zettai kareshi and would nominate Vampire Juuji kai , Zero , Chrno Crusade, 666satan, Ai-ren, Baoh, Ayashi no Ceres, Flowers of evil, Hitsuji no uta, Kilico, psychic academy, Replay and Rose Hip Rose.
Those were my recommendations ( 🙁 just noticed i have a lot of mangas with bad endings)

Thanks for all the suggestions and that thread really did help! one thing though i forgot to mention previously is that i like when the main character dies, not really the love interest. i mean the character whose perspective you start off with or continue throuout. i do like the mangas where the love interest dies like Watashitachi Shiawase na Jikan but i would prefer it to being the other way around. Anyways, thanks again! Now I have a new list to go through 🙂
