Can I just put a type of character I hate instead....I really really hate female characters of the "Princess" type who insist on going along with the protagonist (often just because they love him) and then proceed to get in the way, usually causing him to get injured in some way and generally just making things harder on him. Then they go emo for a while and train, and then put up a slight fight that is supposed to prove their usefulness but fails to, at which point they return to getting in the way. They also enjoy whining about how we should love everyone and being superficially kind while failing to actually understand anyone. If you're going to get in the way wait at home.

Isn't that the clumsy and typical kind of girl?... Or nosy type? Yeah I really hate those... and ESPECIALLY when those type of girls are the MAIN CHARACTER of the manga ><;;; Seriously, annoying.

I think it's more the way they attempt to control/do control the male protagonist that irritates me than the clumsiness, they totally force their values on people and act like they have the right to do that. And of course, the getting in the way more than helping part.

Another type of character I hate. Those that like cool guys and ditch the guys who truly really love them..

Totally agreed on Asagi. (By the way, I've never known anyone else that reads Basara, good for you! ^^) I mean, sure, he may really love her (please...), but he's in the way of the awesome ShurixSarasa pairing that we've all been cheering for since volume one. Plus he's such a meanie. XD She could never marry him, he's way too cold. I also second Queen Nakia- what a...! Well, anyways, I hope she dies with Asagi. And Luigi! Rawr- darn interferers! I also want to kill Kikyo. Many, many people have hated me for this, but I don't care. She's dead, she needs to stay dead, and leave InuYasha alone. With Kagome... -wink-

But then, I'm biased- I've hated Kaname ever since oh, the second vol. or so when he just got really annoying...

I probably won't get very many agreements with that last one, but oh well.

Totally agree with you about Kaname. He's too... perfect @_@. So perfect it makes him unperfect. It makes him horrible 😔 . I stopped readin VK after chapter 40. The plot just started giving me a "Omg please let me commit suicide instead of reading the next chapter" sort of feeling x).

1. FAILzaku Kururugi from Code Geass because the world would be going through another 'pax romana' if he died and people would be thanking God that he did.

2. Zero Kiryuu from Vampire Knight. Honestly, have you seen that arrogant dipshit? I think he should stop sticking his cock up everybody's ass and business. Zero is an epic fail...

3. Sasugay from Naruto. Annoying, cocky, and is thinks he can accomplish stuff but really can't. Another epic fail...

4. Lal Mirch from Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

It's easy for me to put up with the annoying and horrible characters but when they make the list it's gotta be something over the top.

1. Sasuke - Naruto
2. Spanda - One Piece (gotta second this, he doesn't deserve to live)
3. Shoujo manga girl protagonists who cling to the male protagonists (crybaby type)
4. Weak girl protagonists
   5-10. Fill it in with Sasuke or Naruto (they really are FAILURES as shounen leads)

10. Lenalee Lee (D. Gray-Man) - She's too perfect and flawless and always gets the attention in crucial moments, when the reader should be focusing on someone else instead. Plus, she's very powerful when she fights, but when she couldn't use her Innocence, she was a real pain.

11. Hanyuu (Higurashi no naku koro ni) - All she's doing is going 'Auauauau~' and being cute and useless. There was already Rika as the cute factor, thanks; we didn't need someone even cuter than her, that's already sickening.

12. Nayuki Minase (Kanon) - Damn, I wanted to drop Kanon just because of her. She's too damn annoying with her obsession on Yuuichi, which, might I remind her, is her cousin. Plus, she's just, well, idiotic in behavior.

13. That girl in Shakugan no Shana (whose name I don't remember) that had a crush on the main character. Girl, get the heck out of my anime.

14. Harmona and Jagara from Wolf's Rain - nothing personal with them just that their hair was really, really sickening.

15. Cheza from Wolf's Rain - she was creepy, her eyes were creepy and the way she was falling down spinning was even creepier. Plus that, well, she did almost nothing.

16. Kururugi Suzaku - he's stubborn and idiotic and fails to open his eyes and see the world the way it is.

17. All the cast in Fruits Basket - they're annoying and they talk way too much utterly pointless discussions.

18. All the cast in H2O - eew, I don't even want to remember them. >.>

And I know I will be hated for this but:

1. All the cast from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, especially Haruhi herself. They're too one dimensional and cliché. God, I hate them all.
