So yeah, i was wondering if there are any mangas where there is an ugly uke .
But not the kind that take their glasses off and suddenly get beautiful !

Probably the first thing that comes to mind is Aitsu no Daihonmei , with no signs of transformation thus far, although you've probably read it.

That's most likely the novel, Don't Cry Mama, which I haven't read yet but mixxi made it sound pretty good.

Yeah.... i read both Don't cry mama and Aitsu no Daihonmei already 🙁

Don't cry mama was ok. The uke was fat, which i found to be something new, but he was never actually shown in the illustration, only when he got slim and sh*t, which i found pretty disappointing 🙁

As for Aitsu no Daihonmei... i kinda found the uke cute ( he reminded me of Luffy from "One Piece" 😛 )...but he was considered ugly by most of the other characters, which is also ok 🙂

Let's see...i already read Jouzetsuna Yubi ( actually i've already read most of Naono Bohra's works ! 😛 ) and i don't really find the uke ugly at all. The scar didn't really made him less beautiful than he already was, so yeah ( though, i did like it, it just doesn't fit the description i'm looking for).

As for Denkou Sekka Boys... it's also nice, but it's exactly the type of manga i mentioned at the end, the take-off-glasses-and-suddenly-become-a-beauty-type of manga .

Each and every suggestion is welcomed and i'll check them all out. I know it's quite a bit of work to remember a particular manga you've read , that meets such ( unusual and) exact criteria, so i'm happy whenever someone gives any suggestion !
