I am very confused and upset after reading chapter 25 because of Mina's conversation with Akira's father. I mean the conversation heavily implied that Mina is Akira's mother? If that is true then how is she still a virgin? If she is indeed Akira's mother, I am gonna drop this manga as I basically read this manga because of the romance between Akira and Mina and her turning out to be his mother completely upsets me. I mean clearly Mina mentions Akira being her son in these two pages.-----

I m very upset and angry at the moment because it just fucks up all the romance from the beginning until now and makes this all a farce. So actually Mina loves Akira's father but only has motherly feelings towards Akira? If this is the truth, I am going to stop reading this manga. Someone please help me out

You should update those links, theyre dead.
Anyway, what I think you mean is the part where Mina yells at Akira's father "are you calling my son's crisis a good thing?" here
I assume this is a translation error from the scanlator, as the commercial translation by seven seas says

you'd call a danger to your sons life "an opportunity"

So no need to get upset or angry, just a mistake by the scanlator.

Thanks for the reply and although, your explanation kind of gives me some relief, I still find the whole conversation pretty weird. Like how Mina was behaving with Akira's father, and the way she spoke to him, looked more like a husband-wife quarrel to me partcularly the words she says here--- "just like you he doesnt know what to say to girls" or " thinking of only allies, even your own son, that's just like you" or "I dont want to hear such a bad-joke from your mouth" or " Are you asking me to trust him not as a parent but as an ally, that's so like you"or when Akira's fathert saved Minna from the bearded true-blood when he tried to molest her, Akira's father didnt call Mina as Her Highness but as "My Lady"
All these makes me scared because it clearly showes that Mina and Akira's father go along way back and has some sort of history. And remember, there was one scene, where Mina was holding an infant Akira, and that must be before when Akira was able to talk. So all these evidences somehow makes me scared that Akira is indeed her true son, but what baffles me is, how does she manage to pass the chastity test then? Maybe in her LoLI form she is a virgin but her true form isnt?

I suggest you buy and read the official translation by seven seas.
I don't know how trustworthy the translation you read is, but in the official one the relationship between them seems more like old friends or queen and trusted subordinate.

Well she just had a virginity test that proves that she has not had children.... so its impossible for her to be Akira's mother. Case closed.

Also remember the very premise for Akira being Mina's bodyguard. In his family, when they reach "adulthood," they take the position as personal bodyguard to the queen. Mina is definitely much older than she appears physically, so his father has probably been her personal guard for most, if not all of his own life as well. He would probably have a much more familiar relationship with her than would a normal servant, as well as how she would be familiar with Akira, her new bodyguard-in-training.

Mina is not akira's mother. The scene she holding infant Akira was right after her chastity or watever it is, test. Akira's father brought him to show to mina. thats wat the latest chapters tell 😀

I just hope it doesnt bcom a stupid tragedy >_> since they r from different lineage. Well if there's a hint of tragedy i will just drop it or wait and the ending like i did with tsubasa chronicles xD

I knw i m a bad anime/manga fan xD

no i agree with u, in dropping it till it ends, i thought of doing that to Tsubasa too, but as a tried it for a bit, i realized the tragedy was for the clones. to come haha

well even with Dance In The Vampire Bund since i knew from like first 5 chapters it was going to be a Mature manga i have been holding off on it for a while, and still am till it reaches like 50 chapters since i wanna be sure i get a satisfying read when i do read it. i got bunch of things to read and watch in the meanwhile.

Because she isnt really a LoLi, her true form is an adult and she holds that form to hide her age because if it was revealed she would be expected to marry one of the 3 purebloods and bear them a child

@ dark mage she is a loli, but is a couple of hundred years old.... actually if she is older than my grandma does she count as a loli?

She isnt a loli, its been said and shown, her real form is that of an adult woman, the one she will use when she does you-konw-what, and like you said, she is really old to boot. She hides her true form to keep the 3 elders in the dark of the fact that, she can already bear child

in the first page you provide, the reference to "my son" is akira'a father speaking, not Mina.

I wonder how the translators did that maybe it was a translator joke
but nobody did get it
something like this already happened i remember at rabbitreich a translator joked about how he wrotten gibberish an got it past the editor and proof checker and even the leechers but that was a H/E manga not a story driven one like this 🤢
