Hi! So i'm looking for a manga where the guy likes the 'unpopular but in some way unique' girl but the guy is popular so the he's ego won't let him to approach the girl and at times becomes mean to the girl. I want him to have a romantic regret and approach the girl once again.
Or a manga where the guy is a jerk to the female lead and then has a romantic regret about it.

And no, koe no katachi's not what i'm looking for.

It's ongoing but Takane to Hana sounds like what you want

Nakanmon!: This one is very close to what you've described. The 'regret' is HUGE. It gets a little bit cliche in the end, but it didn't ruin the story at all. It actually made it more exciting, especially if you feel like diving into your fantasies. The development was nice, too. This has exactly what you're looking for, I think. The female lead wasn't a weakling, and she even poked fun at the arrogant male, who poked fun at her too. It was an equal relationship.

Koi Dano Ai Dano: The guy is popular but the story is more like the popular guy is 'friendzoned' by the unpopular girl who happens to be very interesting once you get past her dull appearance. The girl, also, is one of my favorite female leads. She put the male lead in his place quiet few times, and the character development that all the characters went through was also very satisfying. (But if you wanna start with it, you should start with the prequel. This way the manga will make more sense to you)

@clarityfalls99
There is a reason why there are spoiler tags that hide words that are spoilers. Please use the appropriate tags as you've just spoiled it for me as I happened to scroll and glance which led to me being spoiled. I literally just glance for a second and in that instance, I hated the lightning speed of neural processing....

Hmm, for all my suggestions I'd say that the "bullying incidence" would not have been the main focus and the male lead may not have necessarily felt very regretful but instead just had a change of heart from his bored antics or something.

Ran to Haiiro no Sekai
Definitely not the main focus of the story, but still a highly recommended manga, beautiful artwork too! Seinen, magic/fantasy elements and about a girl trying to grow up and love and family bonds I guess? Some parts of the plot I did not agree with but meh, can't be perfect

Kodomo no Omocha
An oldie but a goodie. More along the lines of what you're looking for? Outgoing/quirky child actress tries to stop the class wrecker/bully.

Tomodachi no Hanashi
Short and sweet. Closely fits your description but on a smaller scale? Nice art.

Cheese in the Trap
In a way also closely fits your description too. Psychological drama, with comedy as well. I'd say very engaging 🙂

Skip Beat!
Most likely you've read it but in a way also fits your bill, but not the main plot OR pair haha.

Kimi no Sei
It's not a high school setting, but it definitely has the male lead regretting.

And oooh, a cute oneshot (not sure about regretting though) called First Love (Aruko)
