Age Progression Romance

I'm looking for manga that follows the characters and their romantic/pseudo-romantic development over a significant time span (3 years+). If the manga is still ongoing and not long enough for a time progression, it must look to have a timeskip of sort. The characters should be of the same age or small age difference (late jr.high x early high school should be okay) Some manga that would qualify this:
Joou no Hana
Chihayafuru (the motivation for this thread)
Magician (Kim Sarae)
Trump (the story is still in their childhood, but it seems likely to have a timeskip
Sunadokei
Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu
Some battle shounen with time skip, such as Naruto or One-piece technically match the "age progression", but they don't really have much in the romantic department. But don't hesitate to rec me battle shounen if you think it has good romance. God forbids, my examples are full of shoujo 🤨
No yaoi or yuri please.

Oyasumi Punpun technically fits your criteria. It's about a boy and the girl he's in love with and spans over a decade.
It's also insanely dark. So tread with caution.

Hmmm... there are probably tons that fit your description. For example you didn't say how dark/light you want them ? Is slapstick or tragic melodrama a no go ? Does it have to involve teenagers ? etc... If you want some that span over several years then is that to say your main criterium is character development and you can cope with or you require a slow pace ?
Anyway, here are a few I can think of, very roughly ordered from teenagers target audience to adults (if that kind of segmentation means anything...) :
Ichigo 100%. high school IIRC.
Kimagure Orange Road. 80's classics. middle to high school. Not much character development i'm afraid, unless you append the first OVA sequel.
Maison Ikkoku. 80's classics too. ronin to student to work.
Sakamichi no Apollon. High School.
Ciguatera. high school to university.
Aku no Hana. middle to high school. (it's on your reading list but with no ranking : did you drop it ?).
+1 for Oyasumi Punpun.
Planetes. moon to jupiter
Edit :
Touch. Another rather long 80's shounen classics that maybe closer to Chihayafuru than all my other suggestions (some romance but mainly sport/competition).
Edit 2 : My bad, i was asking for more precision and i just skipped the timeskip part, so you may wanna ... skip all but Aku no Hana and perhaps Planetes. Sorry 'bout that 😳

All choices are made in fear,
What you fear more is the only difference.
Positive decisions are made in fear negative consequences,
Negitive decisions are made in fear of positive decisions not giving the outcome you want.
Embarrassment is the fear of people knowing your real thoughts.
Greed is the fear of having too little.

Boku no Chikyuu o Mamotte
This may fit. This goes across life spans (involving reincarnation) rather than the aging of two individuals. It's a fantasy so there won't be much focus on day to day life. There is an age gap, but the gap doesn't seem to matter much. After all, this isn't set in normal circumstances. I rec giving the first few chaps a shot. if the manga drags you could watch the anime first.
There is development from child to adult but it is not depicted in a straight forward manner, like childhood friend to teens to adults.

Nagi no Asukara has a time skip of 5 years. (watch the anime)
Kodocha- from elementary school to middle school.
Beck- romantic subplot, spans over quite a few years i think.
Hourou Musuko - Elementary to middle school
^^ If you don't mind the gender issues in the manga.
Nousatsu Junkie= middle school.

I followed it from the beginning to the end. It's more of a childhood love romance (I don't think they even count as childhood friends, but YMMV) than age progression romance, since they didn't really spend that much time together

Truth be told, I did contemplate putting it up as example there, but forgot to 😛

Wishlisted it. I stumbled on it a while ago, but the permanent hiatus kinda puts me off.

Well anything goes, though I'd say I prefer good ending to bad ending 😛
The first 3 I read like ages ago, probably before I even used mangaupdates. I didn't exactly like the storytelling of Ichigo's author in general though.
Sakamichi feels like shounen-ai most of the time. I was into it for like 20 chapters before dropping, so yeah... :/
I'm about 3 vol into Ciguatera now. Great read 😉
Aku no Hana is okay, I actually didn't like it as much as I think I should. I suppose the cynicism of the story got to me and I direct my negative feelings at the characters.
I will check Planetes after Ciguatera
I already read pretty much everything written by Adachi Mitsuru.
Nah progression can be in the form of either timeskip, or actual plot time. You weren't wrong with your rec

Well I stumbled opon it a while ago. I didn't exactly like both the main guy and girl tbh.

I alrready read Kare Kano. It was good in beginning and middle, but I didn't really like the whole drama out of nowhere at the end.
I've been following Koe no Katachi since before its serialisation 😛
What Yuri Yuri are you referring to? I only see 3 on MU, one is doujin, one is yuri and one is shoujo-ai
Gonna check the last 2 later

Kimi no Iru Machi - The MC's romantic life progresses from when he is 15 to when he's in his twenties. Prepare yourself though for this one, it's one hell of a roller coaster. It's finished also, so you can read this in one sitting if you want to.

There is an anime that completes the story where the manga left off in case you are interested. [Hopefully this will make up for my useless recommendation earlier lol x) ]
