I am looking for a manga that contains a evil/toxic/dark romance. It can be slightly disturbing. (In the good way). Something like "Flowers of Evil" or darker.

No hentai, yaoi or yuri , please.

When I saw this post Flowers of Evil was the first thing that came to my mind. 🙂

Death Note isn't a romance manga, but it has a dark romance to it, since she's willing to go along with how he uses her and the fact that he kills people, only because she's convinced herself that she's in love with him. Very creepy manga in general, but again, the focus isn't the romance.

Oh! Try Chiro Star Project. The mood of the manga isn't as dark as Flowers of Evil, but the theme of is, in my opinion, very creepy. And the fact that he's supposed to be in love with her makes my skin crawl. (If you check it out, read my review of it. The summary doesn't do it justice).

I second Anne Freaks and Hakuji, though Hakuji is lighter compared to Anne Freaks.
Try Mei-chan no Shitsuji or Hana no Kishi. They might work. Maybe Shinshi Doumei Cross or Sakurahime Kaden too.

Not shoujo, but Threads of Time. Intense feelings are intense.

If you liked Flowers of Evil, you might like Savage Garden from the same author.

The romance in Omae ga Sekai o Kowashitai nara is pretty disturbing...

Goth is another non-shoujo with questionable romance (it's more subtext).
