I don't know why but I'm a sucker for suffering heroine shoujo where the girl stays loving one guy while rejecting all others or not being serious with them while she waits for that one guy she likes to like her back or pursues him. Maybe it's the challenge or maybe it's because I like seeing girls suffer. lol.

As cruel as it might sound if the heroine is with another guy and then her true love finally decides he wants her she needs to drop the other guy immediately or be totally oblivious to him and go running into her true loves arms.

Note: No rape or molestation plz. Unless it's the girl on guy.

Another reason I enjoy this is that I sort of like seeing the guy who tried so hard fail and suffer as his dream girl goes for the guy who didn't have to do anything but accept her. Yes I know. So mean. I can't even explain why but I love it.

Try Heroine Shikkaku. There's this girl who has a crush on her childhood friend, and she thinks that she's the heroine of her own shoujo story. But enter the new girlfriend of the mc's friend, and the mc realizes how fragile her relationship with the guy is. 😃

I'm like you and love to see a bit of suffering unrequited love the only bit I'm struggling to find is the whole rejection of another guy anyway here are just a few:
Senpai to kanojo - theres another girl on the scene for this one
A delicious relationship- she doesn't really reject another guy but there is a love triangle at some points.
Tenshi Nanka ja Nai- if you've read Gokinjo then you'll probably have read this one
