On any manga, on the recommendations section, it only shows 5? When you click to see more, nothing more shows up? It used to be that like 30 would show up.

This is really debilitating for me. This was the primary way I found new manga.

I've basically stopped reading manga since I first encountered this bug.

I tested it on incognito, and on a different browser (edge), and the same thing happened.

Is anyone else noticing this??...

From what I have seen new series don't have any information in the 'Recommendation' section. They only have the auto-generated recommendations in the 'Category Recommendations' section (right above the original 'Recommendation' section)

If you look at older series like Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori you will see the recommendations as they used to be and the 'Category Recommendations' which has ~5 auto-generated recommendations based on the categories/tags on the series.

If people add the appropriate Categories (and vote on them) then the category recommendations will be better.

I noticed this a while ago. It's somewhat disappointing since I don't find the category recommendations useful. I would have assumed that the separate recommendations box contained user-submitted recommendations but it often lists exactly the same works as the category recommendations box.

Now I tend to find new manga via manga aggregate sites. You might not want to read on them but some have good tagging and list features that help you find similar works. You can also find recommendations on MyAnimeList.

Other readers' recommendations are very helpful. I think it would be nice if in the future users could submit their own recommendations to works they have read.
