There are A LOT of gender benders out there, but I'm searching for something a little more specific. I want a male who's cross-dressing (as a girl of course...) but FOR A REASON! There's more of a reason then just... "I don't like guys" or something stupid like that. I actually want there to be a legitimate reason for cross-dressing. I would prefer there to be romance, but if there is I want the guy to fall in love first! The male cross dresser doesn’t have to be the main character, but I would like him to play a big role in the story, not just be pushed to the side.

Have you checked out Maria Holic? He's the deuteragonist, and is cross-dressing in order to attend an all-girls school. There wasn't any romance yet in the part I saw, but I haven't read/watched very much of it.
