im looking for a manga like History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru etc. but with a female lead. so its the same old story about a weak lead thats turns strong after learning martiar arts or some kind of sport. i have looked a long time for a manga like this with no luck. i think this kind of theme fucuses on male lead characters and i find that very sexist.
thank you for your help. 😀

The only one i can think of is Teppuu but the main character is like a genius when it comes to martial arts. She already has a karate background but has to learn mma techniques in order to compete on a pro level.

Maybe....

Arachnid - not exactly martial arts, but fighting, and she does start weak, but quickly grows strong

Bamboo Blade - kendo, main character is already strong, but inspires the growth of others around her

This is an awesome manga. Thanks for mentioning it. Love the main character, delightfully unhinged, lol.
