1970s Shounen-ai
Can anyone recommend some 70s shounen-ai?
These are the ones I have read, and I really loved them!
Kaze to Ki no Uta
Thomas no Shinzou
Poe no Ichizoku
Thanks! ♥

Okay, so all of these might not exactly be 1970s stuff, but they're olden-day shounen-ai, not modern ones.
Hi izuru tokoro no tenshi
Joker Series
Yume no Ishibumi
Mari to Shingo
A, A'
Marginal
Juuichigatsu no Gimnasium
Onshitsu
Patalliro!
Zettai anzen kamisori
Eve no Musukotachi
Hensoukyoku
MW
Sunroom Nite
7 Nenme no Dou Kyonin
Zankoku na Kami ga Shihaisuru is from 1992, but I've often heard people say it's really epic, so I thought I'd throw it in, in case you might like it.

From Eroica With Love. So 70s it hurts. (Seriously, did you see their HAIR?) 😀
Everything that calstine recommended.
And almost any BL by Takemiya Keiko, Yamagishi Ryouko, Belne and Hagio Moto (some of her titles are included in clastine's list). Not all of Belne's work is listed on B-U, but trust me that she has some older stuff than what's shown here.

It may be a little off topic, but could you tell me if the art here is anything like the cover? Because it's the second time I see you recommend this manga and I'm interested in it, but this cover is a bit... discouraging? 😀

I haven't read it, but I've heard numerous people saying the art is terribly off-putting. I'm sure you'd prefer it to be pretty (you seem to like CLAMP after all ^^)- and if the artwork is a major deciding factor for you, you shouldn't read it. Only die-hard BL fan-girls would even bother with this manga, anyway.

I'd like to put in a good word for Eroica, because MU's cover image was initially offputting for me too. 😛 (Must hunt up a nicer image....) The actual interior art is still an acquired taste, but since you're asking for 70s stuff anyway... shrug
Here's some samples if you'd like.
Thanks for the recommendations! 🙂
I've actually read Eroica before, but I only enjoyed the first volume. I thought it went downhill after that. 😔
