And when i say chubby/fat, i mean the character has to stay that way until the end of the end of the story, not first become slim and then together with the loved one...

Because, in that case, i do know a few myself , like : Bara no tameni, Cousin ( beautiful art!), Lets stay together, etc.

But i've never actually found one that is like in my description...
So, does anyone know any manga like this?

Btw, if i'm already at this, i don't mind if the girl or / and boy is/are fat/chubby 😛 😛 😛 😛

theres one about a fat otaku guy is sent to another dimension.... beats me how it ends or the name... he "dies" and some girl askes him if he wants to survive... then sent him to some fantasy world. Another is about some other otakus with virtual reality he wants to save a virtual reality girl or something he isnt fat in the virtual reality world tho.

If you like yaoi, there's a few too.

Gaki no Koro kara (Always Together) is a really great oneshot that fits what you're asking for.

You can also try Miracle Dieter Miyuki--the main character is overweight but transforms into a skinny girl to fight bad guys. It's a parody of both magical girl series and also of our obsession with dieting. It's not bad.

There is a side character in Monkey High who is overweight, but he sometimes gets made fun of for it.

Private Prince? - though I'm not sure if you're "ok" with smut... She's a bit shorter and rounder...

Accel World apparently has a character like that, however I didn't read one page of it yet. So I don't know if there's a hint he'll become skinny..

And Alive has a character like that near the middle of the story.. He's not that much of a major character though.

They kinda kill him off, so you might not be interested. .

In Eyeshield 21, there's a hilarious character who fits.

Sasuga no Sarutobi.

An old manga but to be honest I like old manga better than the new ones coming up. Not trying to be weird or anything but newer manga are becoming more cliche.

I haven't read it yet, but Shibou to Iu Na no Fuku o Kite has an overweight character, but apparently decides to lose weight... though I quote: "The consequences and side-effects are explored further after the 'achievement'..is it what she really wished for?"
