After a 2 year hiatus, the mangaka is working on D.Gray Man again. I'm hoping this means the plot will become stable again.

From what it looks like, it looks like she has been working on these chapters for a while. Do you have any idea how long it'd take to get to the point of getting Lavi to come back by drawing it herself?
For all we know, her editor requested her to do many chapters in advance in her own pace so she won't have to overstress her wrist, so she could have a more consistent release schedule.

SQ recently put in more new titles. I don't think there's room right now. There was also no news in this month's SQ.

And FYI, Hoshino is a Naruto fan. She has drawn doujinshi of it before.

I said it would be returning. Not that it'd been announced it be in a magazine or a specific date. I even mentioned that I wonder if she would be able to do weekly again or would it continue to be monthly. She probably hasn't even gotten into a contract with a publisher or applied to be in one yet.

This is just a general announcement that, D.Gray Man is not dead, and that after 2 years, we see that it isn't stagnant.
