First thing first - that is NOT. GL. Even if sometimes it feels like it could be.
I do think that the authors maybe wanted to tell a GL story, but couldn't? There are some things, especially at the end, that couuuuuld indicate it.
But besides, it's a short, sweet but also melancholic story about girls friendship when the love comes around. Mcs has a really close one, to the point that when the love interest appears, jealousy also appears, which is understandable.
There is something more real in this drama than in your average popular webtoon. Maybe cause there are no overly dramatic or big thing out of nothing situations, subplots are not overstaying their welcome and people more or less talk things through. At the same time the more nuanced, complicated emotion are well portrayed. There are subplots similar to other webtoons, but I think they're not as cliche? For example at the start of the webtoon there is an appearance of handsome and popular boy from their school days, who was secretly in love with one of the girls and now he became TA in the Academy where the girls work, because of that attraction. In romances it would be fairly cliche situation, but here the authors are more interested in showing the girls emotion than the romantic situation - it feels kinda fresh.
I have some reservation to the story - Yura becoming calmer and dressing differently to show maturity is kinda unnecessary for me, I don't think that being enthusiastic and girlish are "unmature" things, but whatever. The ending wasn't abrupt, but I feel the authors maybe wanted to show more, but were canceled? Dunno.
Overall nice read, recommended.
