This webtoon is based on the novel of the same name (1993 – web novel, 1994 – print novel). Also, this novel was adapted into a movie (South Korea, 1998) and several games. A 3D animated series based on this novel will be released in South Korea in 2023. The author of the novel also promised that this novel would be adapted into a television series.
