So i actually own the japanese manga for this. and I don't know if I have a different version or if the serialized version is different from the actual manga that was published, but the manga itself is completely different then this scanlated one. I'm assuming Kojima Rarako sensei has probably decided to recreate the series again, as my manga was published in 2013, not 2011.
The 2013 version has different alterations towards the background and the characters, i would say it is a more thought out version. The characters have the same names and have slightly different personalities, but different background and different interactions and feelings towards each other.
The background is a bit different as they are college students and Yuzuru is too weak and works at a library. Yuzuru also has no memory whatsoever of his past and isn't remarried but adopted into the family. Events that happened in the 2011 scanlated version don't happen either. He doesn't get chained up by Takumi. and Takumi is definitely more loving and cherishes Yuzuru and less creepy (and much much less forward). He is pretty much protecting Yuzuru rather then seeking out to ruin him (or is he..?). Hinata also has a completely different look and personality. The manga also goes more in depth to Hinata's past and his love for Takumi as well. The characters have different interactions and different events happen too. The 2013 version isn't complete yet (which is why i even stumbled onto this 2011 scanlated version, was hoping to finish it) and the actual story about the past is not revealed at all yet. Ayato's name is only mentioned once with no explanation, although Takumi does imply that his most 'taiestu na hito' is killed. Kojima sensei is probably still planning to go with the same underlying storyline, as Yuzuru 'attacks' a hobo at the end of the volume.
The story telling and pacing is a lot slower, style is a lot more slice of life-y, and a lot more like her other recent works. The characters and their relationships goes into more depth and have a lot more interaction with each other. The over-all feel is a lot more pure, mysterious, slice of life feel, and definitely not as creepy. Although the 2013 version has not been completed yet, the manga definitely feels more like her usual works. It is much more characters/relationships/emotional based rather then story based. Overall I think she's revamped the whole manga to a much better level, and much more like her usual beloved style . Anyone that loves her usual works and story telling style and can read raws (or if a group ever scanlates it), should definitely read the 2013 published one. It will definitely change your whole perspective on the this series. This is actually currently one of my favorites by her, as it has the precious 'kojima lalako feel' to it, but has an extra dimension that you usually don't find in her works which adds an extra mysterious feel that kinda draws you in.
