So far only 9 chapters in and the story already has problems. Narrator says "hot" weapons are not used because weapons made of monster parts are better? So why don't they just use bullets that are made from monster parts then? The MC shoots arrows. How is a bullet different from an arrow? The only difference is that the bullet is faster. It's so stupid when authors try to make up some justification for why guns can't be used and come up with some flimsy excuse like that. Just goes to show how little thought went into this story.
Again that stupid cliche of the girl beating up the MC for dressing up her wounds. Like seriously, maybe consider that you were unconscious for like 20 minutes and he could have done anything he wanted to you during that time. Also he saved your life, so maybe don't act like a stereotypical tsundere. Urgh I'm just so tired of these cliches.
Also, the girl gets shot with a poisoned arrow, and the MC immediately has an antidote? How does he even know what poison was used? And why didn't the villains use a deadly poison instead of a monster lure? Do such poisons not exist in this universe, or are all the villains just stupid?
I should also mention that the setting and art look REALLY similar to Solo Leveling. Firstly the whole dungeon idea as well as the entire "level up" system that only the MC gets is straight from SL. Then the art: the MC, the girl, and the general style all look like it was taken straight from SL. I mean, dungeon stories are really mostly a Korean thing, Chinese stories are more about cultivation. I don't mind that a Chinese author is giving his take on the dungeon genre, but there needs to be something new, and this is anything but that. Everything in this manhua feels derivative and rehashed. That wouldn't be a problem if this was better executed, but it's not. The art is not better than SL, in fact I think it's worse. And the setting, so far, is not any improvement on the other dungeon manhwas that I've seen. Dungeon Reset for example at least tried to do something new with the dungeon genre. This manhua, so far, doesn't seem to have anything original whatsoever. And everything just feels worse than Solo Leveling already.
