Constant rape and abuse

A story that starts and continue with rape and a protagonist who thinks it's normal is sick.
The protagonist is weak, suggestible and suffers from Stockholm syndrome, probably due to abuse.
A horror story.
I don't understand how something like this is still done.
Release 2019, I jumped to the end im 2023, 629 They leave 1 child behind, stay with the abuser and it's not over yet.
"In this game, the one more rutkess wins."

Typical Chinese Manhwa

The first chapter was messy at first, love the artstyle by the way (8/10).

The usual CEO ML × pitiful FL in chinese novels and manhwas where most ML leads are abusive, rapists and has anger issues while the FL is pitiful, cannot fully fight back victim of abuse and in the end would eventually fall in love with ML no matter how much they suffered in the hands of the ML, yep a martyr.

The story is unsurprisingly new containing family tryin' to bring MC down, revolves the lives of rich and influential people, revenge on the people who dragged the MC into ruin, love triangle, etc which kinda makes the story very predictable. I had to drop reading the manhwa because why would anyone bother to make a story such as these where a domineering erotic man controls and manipulate the girl they like. It's like all signs of unhealthy relationship is all shammed into this story: rape, blackmailing, controlling, possessive, manipulative, imprisonment, and abuse. That's so sick and twisted. It's very obvious that FL will develop Stockholm's Disease as the story progresses and I will certainly not gonna read this ever again because I pity the FL so much.

It's a good story but there are somethings that happened but the female lead changed the male lead and he loves her.

Okay the beginning is messed up a bit but the male lead and the female lead end up having actually feelings for each other and he makes her happy. Yes, he does have a Paranoia Disorder and anger issues but he really does love her and it shows later on.
He just doesn't know how to express his feelings.
He makes some stupid decisions because he wants to keep her from getting hurt.
Please, trust me on this. It is a very good manhua.

The other reviews are outdated from what the story is now.

How can someone just make a love story out of repeated physical and mental abuse? Even when you think the relationship is slightly improving, bam! Here comes a new rape!
Seriously, this should just be banned... When you think about all what is going on in the world right now, how can such a story be even allowed to be published?
I am just ashamed to have hoped that the author would go somewhere, and to have tried to stick to the story up to now to see that there is a justification and improvement to this pure horror... Now, I just can't stomach it anymore...
It you have a conscience and a weak stomach, stay well away from this...

I don't know what kind of drugs that author used while writing this story. It's just that horrible, bad, awful, and I'd like to add disgusting.

Let's make a check list of the horrible things inside this story:
✅ Rape
✅ Rapist ML
✅ FL is a rape victim that understood she is raped but somehow love the ML
✅ Jelly sister with no clear motives for torturing FL. I mean FL is ignored by her surrogate parents and the jelly sister always got everything but jelly sister puts a lot of effort and money to make her life miserable for no reason? For what, daily dose of drama?
✅ Characters who love to not using their brain to do something.
✅ ML is surrounded by "smart people" who encourage his brain damage attitude by not sending him to mental hospital to recover while he got mental illness, yea just run the company boss
✅ Those "smart people" understood that ML violated a lot of law (rape, kidnap, privacy violations, domestic violence etc) but justified it and pressured FL to bear with it because HE hAd PaRANoiA.
✅ How can a person with complex mental illness could run a company? Oh wait he got "genius" title.
✅ ML is a trash
✅ FL is a dumb patient moron
✅ Second ML got this whole brainwashed drama so he could look asshole and made you think ML jerk attitude is based by his love for FL but in truth, both are just bad choices that shouldn't be choices from beginning.
✅ Repetitive, repetitive torture and misunderstand that ML gladly put more icing into it cos what do you expect? He's trash after all

And the list go on that I'm so tired because it's a lot. I'm still generous enough to give rating 3 because at least the manhua drawing art composition is good for a manhua that usually the composition is bad.at least I'm not putting it as 1 like "pure girl" so this is not condemned as "garbage story of the century".

Sorry for my foul-mouthed review, you'd understand the frustration if you saw the comment section in the english official one. Some readers thought this manhua is hot between ML and FL, that's really concerning.

Note: this is originally novel and it got adapted into drama? Mind boggling
