It was amazing! It's a very good manga If you're looking for something bishi! People that might be wondering why there is a cliffhanger was because the author had changed companies or something like that. She ended with these two main characters in the sequel. I was quite satisfied so I didn't mind it at all. It's still one of my favourite mangas out there - guarantee you'll be squirming with joy 🙂

Well, I found it a fun read and very good at times, less good at others.
What bothers me is that sometimes there's passages that seems really random and disconnected, like from one page to another, I'm not sure what's going on anymore, characters acting really strange and such... also, the further the manga advanced, the harder I found it to follow the two main characters in their behavior. Yasaka was sweet at the start, being silent but caring but

from how everyone behaved I thought it was clear he had a crush on Natsui. However, in volume 3 it's all the sudden all this "wtf am I in love or what?" feeling and he acts a bit cold and weird, giving Natsui a handjob and then coldly walking off... I found that to be out of character because even though he is a cold guy, not showing emotion, he did show emotion concerning his crush in the past and I think giving him a handjob would have more of an impact on both of them, no matter if they want it or not...

That said, it was still enjoyable to read, I liked the art even though it had it's flaws, some part reminded me of Yamane Ayano (or vice versa if you will).
I liked the setting and the plot was fun as well, the characters were fitting well together, but the addition of the old neighbor and the side character Nanao who keeps appearing are too much for me to like, lol... they're both just annoying and I don't see what purpose they serve (aside from their first appearances).
The extras were always funny, also!
Also, I LOVED the sex scene! You think you know a HOT smut scene? Try this, lol.

I'll recommend this to anyone who wants a slow building romance and a ton of bishis!
Too bad it didn't get all finished due to the mangaka's death... though she can be proud of herself for a whole lot of yaoi fangirls out there will continue to love her books!

The author was very talented and it is regrettable that she was not able to finish this manga and create new works, because it is really hard to find a author who can create a wonderful story plot and draw so beautifully.

Really too bad it was dropped 'cause the author is dead. 😢
It was really good manga. The storyline an the art is great. The characters is adorable and funny! It so rare to found manga like this, about showbiz for the real plot. I really wish it will be more. Fave! 🙂

Yes the series is marked complete because the Author passed away do to illness. So all of her incomplete mangas were marked complete. So you basically have to finish the story yourself in thought. It's truly SAD such an awesome author and artist, and really interesting storylines in all her mangas. She is and will always be greatly missed.

I know it says the series it's complete...but...is it??...it ends with the extra 😕 ...and with Ritsu and Nobita been exposed??..(i think that was a spoiler..sorry...)...please...could someone clear it out for me 😕

Beautiful artwork..but that's it. Even though I read it till the end, not much satisfaction can be yield. Typical uke and seme in term of appearances, personalities, attitude, and even background. The dynamic of their relationship also quite cliche. What irked me so much is how brainless the uke is, pretty boy with empty head. Not suitable for mature readers who cannot appreciate shallow piece like this.

whoa...this series is great. The Storyline is interesting, the character and the arts are great, but the ending is...umm, kinda cliff hanger.

You'll find it lack of smex scenes, to bad sigh, but still, it is really fun to read..haha

just enjoy it...

the storyline is really interesting. nn yes. its different from other yaoi that i have read. somewhat refrshing. plus the art is great! but the ending is abit... eh... its like it kind of ended in a new beginning or something like that. i want to know what happened after the pics got out!!

Denkou Sekka - a shocker of a romance!

Rest her soul, Asami Tohjoh, who left an avid impact of yaoi love stories galore, but with Denkou Sekka Boys it might as well be famed a cult-classic of BL. Tohjoh's storytelling style is that of which many readers deem "angsty" drama though she mixed it up in DSB with notable instances of comedy and shounen. Though perhaps too much mixture! Yes, the characters are a given-gorgeous, the raunchy scenes aren't as tacky as expected and Tohjoh's inking and art throws anyone of artistic appreciation's complaints out the window. However, the panels tend to chase after these dumbfound plots and subplots orchestrated in a peculiar sequence that leaves you wanting a second read just to better understand (and/or the scanlation was poorly done), also it will have you avoiding the main plot of romance by hoodwinking you through the whole series until you get the much-needed conclusion at the end - which wasn't much of a closure either! As if reading filler chapters wasn't already unfulfilling enough for the main interest - the romance between the two characters! Also, there are some characters who didn't do much of a supporting role but rather act as a prop to ignite the predictably forced drama scenes! But with all bashing aside, DSB favors in its overall appeal - pretty models and their lusty gay shenanigans! A sequel is available if you're longing more scenarios and wanting unanswered questions. I already gave the second series a try, the English Publisher did a lackluster job which resulted in putting the book away until a night like this! But with all the cliche yaoi's around, Denkou Sekka Boys is one to award (by reading it)!
