Description

Tachibana Souta is a bit of a multi-talented freeter who gets by from one part-time job to the next, his standout characteristic being that he's a bit short. One day he's roped by his older sister into 'serving' their college's volleyball team, of which she's a member. She also happens to be at least 6 and 1/2 ft. tall, as do the rest of the team's members who take quite the interest in Souta.

Amusing but not to be taken seriously

This is a character-centric harem comedy ecchi. Everything from the premise, the setting and the shallow, largely episodic plot points are just an excuse to further the basic outline of the MC building out a harem one girl (usually) at a time. If you are expecting to follow a volleyball sports manga with some ecchi and fan service in between intense tournament drama then you have found the wrong title.

You can't and shouldn't take this manga seriously and there is every indication that the author doesn't expect you to. The idea that these amazons would be tripping over themselves chasing after this dorky MC as if he was the last guy on earth or something is ridiculous on it's face and how the MC handles it all is equally ridiculous and unbelievable. Almost all of the characters are some form or another of absurd deviant caricature with some being notably more outrageous than others. Each of their personalities are fairly distinct and consistent within themselves and the girls all play off of each other well in most cases. The most normal or sane characters you are going to get here are probably the volleyball team captain, her bedridden father who seems to be in good health for someone apparently living out of a hospital and the captain of the basketball team that the main cast frequently run into and proceed to antagonize.

But what this manga does well is that it is fairly entertaining and totally unapologetic. You can't help but be amazed at the stupidity of the scenarios and the sheer insolence of the author for writing this in the way they did. Some chapters are definitely better and more memorable than others and the ones that center around college volleyball, though few and far between at times, are some of the better and slightly more serious ones.

The art is quite good in my opinion. The body types on display here are obviously a bit over the top as the title suggests but the character designs are very much "S-tier" and from what ensues you can tell the author is having fun drawing this.

The elephant in the room is that this guy (MC) is probably going on too many, as they refer to it in the manga, "dates", with his sister and it's largely played off as quirky, racy or some kind of normal-adjacent. What is there to say. The author's obsession with this particular pairing over all the other pairings in this harem that one could push from a character development standpoint is somewhat frustrating however in the end and as mentioned earlier this is not a manga to be taken seriously, even by ecchi standards. The idea that this guy would score with any of these girls is already stretching believability and scoring with all of them repeatedly and regularly.. would never happen. So with this pairing you don't exactly have to suspend your disbelief that much more than you already are. Part of the formula here is in the utter madness of it all.

As of chapter 77, despite the gradual escalation of degeneracy the manga is fairly consistent overall and is generally rude, lewd and amusing.

This is a pretty good ecchi, the only people who seem to be leaving comments are the kind of people who shouldnt be reading this in the first place because they clearly dont like the genre. Given the actual overall rating being WAY higher than what they are rating it, its more than proven.

Ok so yeah this became a real fetish kind of manga and I actually didn't mind. It made me super happy when they made the Captain Sanae chubby because they added a type of girl that I loved so I followed this for years when that happened. Welp in the newest chapters of course they did a stupid weight loss story and it hurt me. Like now it should be named "Do you like tall girls" for them kind of people because screw the term big in general if they don't like fat girls. Definitely do not recommend now, Kissca sucks.

I read it until it started to get more into incest and then i dropped it and came back to check the categories which it was under then i was like why didn't I pay a little more attention to it earlier i forgot that there could be more than what was displayed. But I know there are those who enjoyed this, I can't say I'm one of them. So here I go with my opinion of this manga
1.omg how shameless a girl could get.
2: how slutty a girl could get.
3: how horny are you whether male or female.
4: when does common sense kick in.
5: what the hell are you thinking when you f--- a whole team and soon your sister included it i guess
6: what kind of man whore is he and the girls all retards or just desperate b/c they think he might be the only guy to accept them.
7: is your p---- made of iron to be that fearsome that you can be that agile with so many women.
8: what is your brain made of to even think of wanting to f--- your blood related sibling. i mean there are so many men and women in the world whyyyyyy your family.
9: why are you even sharing your man in the first place if you like him are you a big fat M do you like
a broken heart knowing that he may enjoy him self with another woman.
10: What hell had to be in an author mind for this kind of well you know s--- to come out of it.
P.S. good for you if you enjoyed it cause I got a head ache just trying to figure out what kind manga this actually supposed to be. I came up with all around hentai with no meaning behind it . Well there is one meaning an that is one male with his p---- for a brain has x number of girls for f--- buddies, as well as to give big girls a bad image like their easy or sluts or they have low self worth.
So to all that enjoyed I'm happy for you but it's not to my liking.

Jokes aside, the same kinda thing can be said for a number of other ecchi + harem series with their choice of theme; however, I find them being a bit more consistent in terms of what they choose to focus on. While providing fan service will always be the authors + artist's number one priority, they do tend to focus on different aspects of the "story," such as the comedy, the developing romances, or as stated before, the theme's playing out as a factor to what goes on in the story (like what allows for fan service or wacky shenanigans to take place):

I'm not saying that all of these examples are essentially better (well, Monster Musume and Jitsu wa Watashi wa are pretty good actually... go read those instead...), but they do essentially stick with what they already have. This series doesn't really do much with volleyball after a while, and pretty much abandons the idea of having characters play the sport. The comedy's weak, the romance is incredibly confusing + bizarre, and everything pretty much comes down to it just showing off the protagonist having sex with various girls, including his ex-grilfriend that he no longer had any interest in and no reason to screw, yet apparently had sex with her just to fill the "one-sex-scene-per-chapter" quota. Even with incredibly flimsy plots, I've honestly seen hentai series that do a lot more with their material compared to this one...

Yet another borderline on another side of border

There are a lot of seinen like this apparently, they are borderline H but on the other side of border. But by convention on this side seems those mangas are marked as H mangas for convinience, and this one isn't even better, it seems more H to me than some actual Hentais that I have read.

It's really good if you have fetish for tall and or open-minded girls.

well i gotta say this if far beyond the borderline H, category and should be marked as Hentai lol. Ecchi wise its pretty good and it does hit some fantasys of men who would like to be with girls taller than them and/or just fantasys that guys had before they had a growth spurt back in school or just the amazon fetish. i admit i had a few, especially when i was shorter than some girls in middle school lol; however manga wise its pretty basic though.

Bad as Manga, Awesome as H-Manga

This one remembers me to Girls Lacrosse Club for Distance or the last 2 chapters from Oshikake Riot of Chiba Toshirou. This is a H-Manga serialized in a non-H magazine, there's not plot or deep stuff, just s*x and loveable girls.

If you like MILF, tall girls, short girls (yeah, this is ironic), bloomers, meganekko, genki girls, DFC, a shota who f*ck all the girls or a Harem genre, this is for you. It's a good read.

The writing is bad by even hentai standards

I am firstly shocked how lazy and illogical the writing in this "manga" is as it is worse that one you can find in an average porno. This may not be the worst manga of the year or anything but certainly the most phoned in so i can actually recommend to read the first two to three chapters to marvel at the insane logic leaps and the mangled anatomy but walk away immediately thereafter as i began to stumble over incest, gang bang and other brain dead trash soon thereafter. This series is even advertised in "proper" hentai magazines and is ultimately only the latest in a string of explicit non-H pr0n "artist" who to sell his wares in a shounen/seinen magazine. How original...
Read Ike! Inachuu Takkyuubu(7,5/10), Natsu no Zenjitsu (9/10) and The Penisman if you want to read an erotic manga or go for Image´s Eisner winning Sex Criminals. ONO Kenuji can even write while still doing hentai so why does this exist again?
