This series is very easy to read and quite gory, can't really say I was impressed b the first ark. The first ark is closer to the unnecessary macabre Japanese horror spotted around with some echi scenes. But after the first chapters it reminds me more of the typical american horror films: starts with a simple premise and the story quickly deranges adding more and more absurd elements.
I mean if I hadn't read the most recent chapter I would've probably dropped it after the first ark but I continued just to see how the MC even survived that ark. And I wasn't disappointed.
-64 Chapters readed.
First of all, the story got really weird after chapters 33.5 (prologue), yes it's a prologue so I'm guessing it was just the start of another arc, but I don't know... I might actually just drop this manga. Also, translation sucks, I don't know if that was just how the manga is, but I can't read it because of it. 5/10
Just make a faithful translation.. What is the point of adding outdated memes into the dialogue and TL notes?
Good manga but the current group translating it in English, Chillock, is trash. I would not recommend reading from them as they are extremely racist and fill the translations with non-stop cringey memes that have no basis being in the manga.
Maybe I'm just not that well informed, but I hadn't seen before a so blatant atempt to recreate a Slasher Movie in a manga. Pumpkin Night calls her victims in the phone like Ghostface. Crack jokes while attacking like Freddy. Is an escapee from the asylum like Michael and is a former victim of bullying like Jason. With
with a little bit of Carrie in her, because of the prom-prank triggering it all. .
All the tropes are there. A psycho that won't stop at nothing. The clique of teenage douchebags that are not worth our sympathies. A bunch of people killed very brutally for getting in the way, or being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And the very very graphic violence with knives way more sharp that a knife should be.
Adds nothing new to the genre, but for fans of it's simplicity, this one has it all. Excelent.
Just your average story of a serial killer out for revenge, nothing too unique about it plot wise. But the art and gore are a mess and make it worth it if you're into that sort of thing
