This one isn't anything that special. It's something we've pretty much seen before quite a few times but the difference is that this time around, the female isn't really pleasing to the eye, neither is the male. The male is a rough, older guy and the female, while having cute tails and ears(gotta say that the tails doesn't look fluffy and the ears are way too oversized so it looks a bit weird), also has kinda creepy eyes and pointed teeth that would fit more in a shark's mouth.
All of this is probably just to cause a sense of surrealism in the contrast between behaviors that should be expected from appearances and the actual situation. However, that doesn't really make much of a difference, in the end this is just a manga about a fox girl acting very cute and girly(extremely so, I guess this is one of the type of things they call gap-moe, maybe? Even for a veteran such as myself, some terms remain blurry at times, perhaps becaue they always were kind of vague with no true official definition) and a guy who isn't very talkative and seems to lack emotions but shows his love all the time along with his lack of inhibitions in expressing what he wants to do, probably because he was planning to kill himself in the first place.
It's also a story about how she gets discriminated against in human society and gets unfairly judged for things she hasn't done. There's also this stuff about her being able to read minds, which is used both to show us how everyone around is despicable and also to contrast that with the husband to show how "good" he is along with being used for many of the story's "plot points" since she'll react to his thoughts causing all sorts of situations which normally wouldn't have happened despite his seeming lack of inhibitions and reactions.
It's a decent story to read and I did get a laugh or two out of 100 pages(25 chapters). It's not anything awesome, but it's certainly readable. Might be easy for readers to get scared off because of the art and the way the story flows though. I certainly didn't get any overly good mood or immersion from it despite feeling that it quite was a worthwhile read because there was only 100 quick pages anyway, it didn't even take a hour to read it all, it's not a text-heavy manga.
Give it a try, it's at least good enough to be worth your time. It's quite cute and adorable in its own way and it's certainly a bit different from the run of the mill stuff out there which tends to feature a different kind of relationship and character cast. I don't know why, at the time of writing this, there are no chapters registered at mangaupdates for this manga. There are certainly 25 or more translated, just search for it.
