The manhua's short and bite-sized nature serves as a nice way to kill time and it includes mature reflective moments are sprinkled here and there with topics such as divorce and its effects on children. The stories contain pranks, sibling scheming, school activities, and general teenage antics. It's meant to be consumed in small doses like Sunday newspaper comics. Since the chapters are so short and usually end in a punchline or payoff, there's little continuity. When there is continuity, it's to set up for another comedic scenario and milk a running gag. If you have a brother or a sister with the kind of relationship found in this manhua, then the experience will probably be heightened for you as you resonate with the two lead characters' antics and how they treat each other. The devious duo scheme and take advantage of the innate kindness that comes packaged with a sibling relationship with the never-ending "I'll pay you back eventually" excuses. Things like using a mosquito as an excuse to slap your sibling or guilt tripping them in to sharing their food with you should strike home with a lot of readers. It's like an "I hate you but I have to tolerate loving you" relationship the two hold. It's such a brother+sister thing. Overall, "Please Take My Brother Away" contains a certain realistic depiction of complicated sibling relationships and school life wrapped up in a miniaturized form so as to be quickly taken and easily digested when on your work break or leisure time.

Don't tell me there’s a reference to the old leekspin loituma meme in chapter 38 and a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure reference in chapter 52… Actually you'll find quite a few references later, too.

The amount of cleverly written misunderstandings leads to some genuine hilarity like in chapters 49 and 50. The addition of a new character in chapter 37 refreshes the manhua, even though I didn't think it would need to this early in its run.

"Please Take My Brother Away" is an excellent and cleverly written collection of slapstick, jokes, and everyday relatable comedic interactions that will guarantee laughs. The cartoon style artwork, too, plays in splendidly with this format. I'll give this a favorable rating.

This is hilarious. All it is about is interactions between this demonic sister and her lazy unpopular brother... later on more characters join them so they become a small group of 6 and sometimes a side character shows up but it stays simple and funny.
There are sad moments about the sibling's lives and a lot of sweet moments between them so it always stays interesting showing they are siblings that care about each other.
Each chapter is short so can be read during your spare time.
There is an anime for it, each episode is 3-4 minutes long so if you don't want to read go-ahead and watch.
There is also a live-action show (on Netflix with subtitles) each episode 40 minutes long, it uses a lot of moments from the manga but still stays a different story as it extends moments and creates new ones. It even has a build-up for the ends so the characters get more screen time and it isn't just repeating the manga but I still prefer it over the live action.
Sadly tho the translation for it is very slow so chapters come out every few months...
