From what I remember everything was pretty, the brothers were hot, the FL was hot, even the dads were hot, i don't remember seeing anybody that wasn't pretty. The story was great, plus who doesn't like a little murder in their stories.

I remember FL was so cool and manipulative, very smart too. Like yes use your brother to take out your other brother, yes make your enemy prisoner fall in love with you and let him go, yes take your seat as the new head of the family and murder anyone who disagrees.

Honestly shes probably my fav FL ever, she's still stuck in my head.
Its a definite recommend...
To bad there's very low chances of this getting continued
Heres to hoping

Roxana fl is definitely one of the most intelligent and strong fl, to survive such a messed up family who would kill anyone anyhow for any reason, not exactly because of very deep thinking but still and also the story is brutal and interesting, a lot of people want to see her do evil stuff I don't know how is that case in these types of stories it usually the opposite the reincarnated villainess does kind stuff to survive and continue noble deeds but if she did it would become way more badass story and fl I know so in that case I can agree to wait for it to if it happens

if you know the Manhwa and Novel is quite good

alas this will never comeback,

I mean come on,
the Editor who is also Pregnant Force the Artist who is also Pregnant to Work non-stop
The Editor Made a Leave and Delivered her Baby Safely while the Artist was force by the editor to work non-stop
enough to make her miscarriage

note: she's also the one who kept on rejecting her leave.
thus make her miscarry

that's the reason why it's on hiatus

now imagine coming back to the manhwa that forced you to miscarried.

so rather than Hiatus this is Full Drop.
She will never come back to this.

Love the art and the fact that the villainness has to be an actual evil villain in order to survive. To me the story is only compelling due to the edginess of it, but it felt like there was too much suspense buildup but in a very mild, slow way. There's not much clues in the beginning with the cryptic and almost too edgy storytelling and it was almost a drag to get through the story if not for the other positive things I mentioned. And now with the indefinite hiatus right at where everything is about to go down, I am just devastated!! I think I will have to add the novel to my wish list

I hate it when they gone on hiatus, indefinitely. On top of big cliffhanger too...

The story progressed slow, but at lessnot too dragged. When FMC real intentions revealed is jaw dropping 😮

The villainess is "doing villainous things". Yeeeeah. No. I'm on Ch.35 and so far she hasn't done anything that's egregious enough to qualify as "evil". I mean she went so far as to create whole ass illusions to keep from "commiting evil". And the "morally grey" stuff must happen if she's supposed to survive in that brutal household. Like, do reviewers expect her to stay a Disney Princess or something in that situation?

I wish everything went further. I love dark stories and was hyped for this one. I'm going to continue reading and I really, really, really hope it's not just window dressing when it comes to the mature themes.

I'll update the ratings when I get to the latest chapters. UPDATE: Ch.43. Yep. Still don't see what/how Roxana can be seen as "evil".

She's just cleaning house the way she was trained to do from the moment she could stand on her own two feet. How is that "wrong"?

Look at what the other families in this story are doing. Because they're cast as the "light" or "good" side, they're not judged the same way Roxana is. Sure, their family dynamics might not be as messed up as Roxana's but abuse is still ripe in them. They also kill others but their actions are somehow justified and therefore not morally grey like Roxana's actions are? Oh, please.

I love how beautifully chaotic the story and the characters are.

Although I think there are some parts that can be executed better, but the art is carrying it so I guess that's fine with me.

I don't think this story is for those who like plain ol' good vs evil stories. The moral compass of the characters are messed up (and I love it).

Hoping the author/artist will be back from hiatus!

Meet The Actual Bad Guys

Definitely one of the darkest webtoons I've read. But I loved it because the bad guys felt like bad guys. They weren't the overdone "the evil duke/tyrant killed me in my past life but this life he's a misunderstood sweetheart" nor the cliche step-family who is cruel to make the next adopted family seem that much better. The Agrece's are BAD people and I never once doubted it. This series is currently on hiatus and I'm getting kind of worried because I desperately want more.

great art but predictable story

I have no problem with heavy themes if the story is good. This one isn't, really. And everything is too glossed over to be heavy, or even sexy. When you take away the "edginess" -- and it's not really much -- you have a story with poor pace, with a boring FL, and a predictable plot. There are so many events that could have been engaging and gripping but lacked intensity to be so. It's unfortunate that the artist is waisting their time adapting such a boring story because their panels placement and composition is one of the best I have ever seen in a manwha.

P.S.: If the story really wanted to be edgy the ML should be the brother, Dion, he's is more interesting anyway.
