Volume 1: These chapters go by so fast!
So Akaru is an emotional rollercoaster, he's crying one minute and cheerful the next. He falls for Hyuuga pretty fast.
Hyuuga is a gentle giant who happens to have a tiger face and tail. He's supposedly a wrestler but he leaves and comes home in a business suit every day.
Hyuuga's feelings for Akaru are really conflicting, half the time he rejects Akaru but the other half, usually when he's tired, he seems to return the feelings. I think it's probably tied up in the whole thing about having a tiger face/tail.
It was kinda weird because Akaru thought it was a mask, but then seemed to believe Hyuuga when he said it was his real face...but then he went right back to thinking it was a mask and it was brought up many times, so I was confused but at the same time, Akaru's emotions are all over the place so maybe not that unusual that he'd get confused again. 🤷
Volume 2: The expressions Hyuuga makes are so good, and his cute tail!! He's the best part of this manga. I feel like the mangaka must have had a lot of fun drawing his various expressions.
It's hilarious how much of a scaredy-cat (hah) Hyuuga is when he's so strong. Guess you can't punch or kick a ghost.
The story with the cat was sooooo cute, my crops have been watered. sobs
Did they do it in chapter 12?? Or did they just sleep.
Lmao at Hinaki punching that yakuza guy, good for her.
Volume 3-4: It's like the mangaka's writing by the seat of the pants the more this goes on. X'D I wouldn't say it's getting absurd but the humor is definitely getting looser.
Completely inconclusive ending about who Naruga is to Hyuuga, why he works in an office instead of as a wrestler, why Hyuuga is the way is he is. So very disappointing in that sense and that it dragged on, but I can't say I disliked it, there were a lot of funny and cute moments.
Also, it was pretty confusing about when the two actually got together and if they were having sex or not. There was a lot of tension earlier on about it and it's like it fizzled out.
