The characters are fine, the premise is interesting, I wish I could say anything good about the rest.
Even though the artwork is kind of good (especially characters), most panels are just messed up, don't match up to the ones before (things like orientation, angles), and most of the time you can't really identify objects, be it because of sloppy drawing or too much speed in there - seriously the only somehow acceptable panels are those where nobody or nothing is moving... That wouldn't be a problem if this wasn't an action manga.
As for the dialogue, the translation seems to be off at times and some things just didn't make sense at all. Stuff that was of decent quality was confusing and forced. The flow is just missing, that holds for the drawings as well for the text.
Let's get to the plot. Forced is the best word to describe that. You clearly see that the author wants to make all characters magicians so it works like a zombie infection (seriously if that would be true the bad guys would just infect and mind-control every single person out there). Apart from the "things just happen" theme it is also predictable, and that is a BAD thing. Ironically the unpredictable stuff either doesn't make sense or feels forced.
You can think of this manga as a form of mosaic: you have many things thrown in there that don't seem to fit and are very rough, but the artist had some kind of greater picture. You'll need to invest some - scratch that, a lot of - work to get that picture, and I don't find fun in that, I want to enjoy what I read.
unique idea destroyed by mediocre translation, bad storytelling and the absence of any kind of flow withing the story.
