Description

Annoying/10, would not recommend this story.

Late story spoilers (more than half way through) for why I dislike this guy so much:

Seoyun's first pregnancy is handled so terribly. The way he, as a pregnant person, is not told about his own condition, and the hospital doctors only talking to Sunghoon who, while the other father, is Seoyun's husband or direct blood relative? Painful to read. As of chapter 32 The doctor never talks to Seoyun about potential complications or problems that arise, only speaking to Sunghoon. Sunghoon drops the ball majorly when this bullshit happens and just keeps Seoyun in the dark instead of telling Seoyun !

It's so frustrating, things like that in stories is the opposite of compelling to me. It's just my personal taste to say it sucks, but it's not personal taste saying that:

Sunghoon is not the green flag that people in the reviews describe him to be.

I don't care if they're a red or yellow or green flag, I just personally can't stand stories about

pregnant people who's rights to their own bodily autonomy seemingly vanish as soon as they become pregnant or when they are recognized as "someone who can become pregnant"

I forgot I've read it and started reading it again yesterday and after some chapters I realised what story it was and it's just a precious cute story I really like💖 Plus Doo Down's art style is as always chef's kiss

I felt the story progress had a good pace. The characters had some good growth going for them. But the ending felt rushed and left things unfinished.

Fails at the final hurdle

This was a really powerful story about a man who has given up and a man who lacks empathy and how their relationship with each other helps them both grow and become happy.
The main character was lovable, though a little dense at times. The ML was great, literally no complaints.

The reason why this story lost two points was first because I felt a bit blindsided by the sudden tragedy that happens near the end. This is just a personal preference - I can't stand tragedies so actively avoid them by making sure there's no tragedy tag and by reading the comments, but I hadn't found any warnings.
And secondly, there were some loose ends that are very frustrating. The worst is that the story cuts off very abruptly without delivering the most important thing that readers want to see.

Green flag, cute, but not vety thrilling

This is exactly what the problem with nice, clean, green flag yaoi - they are nice and a joy to read, but they are far from gripping or indeed, especially interesting. Although this one has all the fine ingredients - the seme and uke are both very well constructed, good characters and while it's glossed over for the most part and only briefly touched upon, the whole suicidal aspect of the uke's personality took this to a slight level up. But, unlike most ukes in yaoi, I enjoyed this one very much! He's spunky, charming but with a obvious lack of self respect or indeed any self assurance, which makes him so human and complex. The seme is a calm, cool, collected but powerful quiet alpha, which was also a vaguely different take on the same old, same old tropes. They had good chemistry together and is one of the rare green flag couples that held my interest.

The story was more of a slice of life, so nothing special, but I wanted to know more if the seme was a gangster or not? That just somehow gets lost in the plot. And uke's friends didn't interest me so much, ando that whole part of the manga I would axe and put something more worth while.

Overall, a cute one! Worth reading!

The art is fine, but characters are not. Everyone here is one dimensional, depicted as good or bad guy. The second half was frustrating to read, why MCs always struggle to understand that the other person is interested in them? Later, when he finally realized, he became Insufferably childish and the only thing he was able to do was pouting and crying.

Such a cute and 18+ rating or not it is a wholesome story. That being said, as per my profile name suggests (QueenOFBinge) I devoured the available #31 ch. in a matter of hours. Someone please tell me where I can continue with an Eng. translation? This page notes that the manga currently has 42 ch. and 3 completed "side-stories".
