Goes from not very interesting to outrageous. Romance kind of sucks so far (I think the general consensus is that the ML is to blame for that: his lack of a personality and sheer audacity in how he treated his wife during her miscarriage)

Why do the kids of the OG main characters have white hair? The mother (OG FL) had yellow-blonde hair while the father (OG ML) had brown hair. How did they get white-haired kids? Felt a little forced like the author was trying to make it look even more that the children belonged with Marachen (current FL) after the parent’s death.

Also why do they lie to the kids and not tell them that their parent’s have passed. The kidnapper managed to tell them faster than the couple that had them for perhaps weeks.

Also yeah, the ML is…not great… He gets drunk, mistakes Märchen for his love (the OG FL who was getting married) despite her saying that he had mistook her for someone else. He has sex with her and she finds out she’s pregnant.

She marries him to protect the unborn child (their relationship quite cold because she knows he’s still in love with his ex — the OG FL) but has a miscarriage after a few months. She’s heartbroken and grieving, crying over graves she made for her lost child…and the ML…does nothing.

Then in what he thought was a stroke of genius 😒 (hint: it was not) he brings his ex-lover’s kids to her. She’s justifiably even more heartbroken at the reminder of her lost child. Then he realises it was actually him that wanted to see his ex’s kids 😑 and instead of apologising or LITERALLY ANYTHING he leaves her crying alone in the dark of her room. 🤦🏻♀️

The ML is as flat as a flatbread, no personality, nothing, nada! The FL is realistic and nice and I get her character, but I don't even know where the story is going anymore. This isn't your - let's raise children well cute manhwas or the angsty ones it feels like there's nothing of substance in the manhwa sigh

Male Lead is Flat

If you like this trope then this is an average manga of it's type. Nothing really stood out to me as particularly unique and the male lead is as flat as paper. They introduce the reason he is emotionally stunted pretty early but it's still nothing to write home about. Also, I really dislike when adults lie to kids about really important things (like death) so overall, not the worst thing I've read but if you're looking for great this isn't it.
