Not only is it hard to follow what's going on, but the interactions between the two are based on a cheap physical attraction and sexual curiosity. There's no substance here beyond passable art.

I don't see where any good part of the story is.. It doesn't really have an effective climax, and all the "problems" seem dull and repetitive... Art faces are so similar it's confusing at times who-is-who.

a girl and boys parents got remarried when they were young so they ended up being step sibling as. They also have to share a room because the grandma moved in with them.. Everyone seems to get they have feelings for each other except the sister.. She seems clueless with everything. She likes her step brothers friend instead.. They go out and the better starts to flirt with other girls instead to make it seem like he doesn't care for her. She is strangely possessive of him in a clueless way... The girl that he made his gf finds out about his feelings and dumps him... The other guy dumps the sister for the same reason but not before trying to control her which didn't work.. There is some random half brother that comes into the pictures and all of a sudden things are okay even though the half brother hates him or something?! He tries to intervene by kissing her?! But that backfires and he doesn't do much after that... Then some girls try to date the brother and the sister gets jealous. Finally the brother admits his feelings but he moves away.. She knows her feelings then but is in distress cause he stopped contacting her.. Then he comes back and all is well they announce they are together.. That's it....

Heroine ruined it.

One of the worst heroines in shoujo you'll ever find. Always blaming someone else, feeling entitled to everything, hurting everyone by being so selfish, making the wrong decisions, and slow at realizing what's important. Worst is that she has the support of her friends who thinks she's an angel, and she's supposed to be (a crybaby) innocent. Everyone, and I mean everyone, caters to her feelings.

The only saving grace in this manga was Minami's constant love for Otome and the angst in the manga because of his feelings. But the truth is, he (and that other guy) deserves better than her.

Now, typically I would be grown out of this type of shoujo (kinda), but still, this particular manga gave me pleasant memories while it lasted. The art itself, is not that great, I seen better, even back then, but it still give you doki doki moments that will probably fail for older readers. People already critiqued it, so I won't bother, but, one thing I would say is that please read if you are into you typical, cute, fluffy shoujos- if not, well, duh, go!

Maybe it's cuz I'm not a girl (reason for not rating) but I found this manga hugely scatterbrained.

I mean minami kissed amane and then it was NEVER mentioned again. What's with doing things like that and not following up at all. So many ties are brought up and nearly all of them are left loose...

Well... the way I saw it was that he liked her so didn't want to become siblings. The things that kept me from throwing up was that they weren't exactly blood related. So that's all good 😀

I don't really like it.
Hmm... the art was nice which kept me going...

I don't like how the story was. It's very very irritating cos' it kept going in circles.
ok... I had the temptation to skip to the last chapter [even though its obvious who she will end up with] but i still continued reading to the end.

the "siblings" talk made me annoyed.

Not a nice read for me. =/

One of those manga with a simple story, full of cliche (sibling not related by blood and the manga is clearly focused on them, a small triangle relationship, how can you not predict how this will end) but nice to read =)
It's really heartwarming and funny, make you feel good after reading it =)

The only thing that bug me is how can she never realized from the start that she love him more than anyone.

20 chapters is a nice length for the story. Yes, it's a typical shoujo story, but, this is the shoujo genre. The storyline and artwork all fitted and it's a nice story. Very addicting once you've started, even though it's predictable. If you're looking for an atypical shoujo with a deep storyline then this isn't for you, but overall a good read ^^

Interesting Perspective

Even though it does incorporate a lot of the usual 'shoujo elements' they took on a different perspective ("stepsiblings")
And how they handle this and their growing feelings for each other.
And the fact that they also have other romantic relationships, shows development in their characters and makes them realize who they really like/love.
The art is really cute, very shoujo 😉
