After reading the first 50-ish chapters and skimming random groups of chapters up to 130-ish, I think i have a grasp on this webcomic so a review is due.
Plot is basic but appealing enough: guy who was bullied for various reasons (including size of his P) manages to survive high school and get accepted into a university in capital, ready and willing to start his new life. He even becomes pretty popular with ladies and is even invited aside by the prettiest freshman girl - only to realize she was one of the bullies that made his life hell.
She might have changed into a pretty and diligent student now, but she can still fight and she's tough as nail. Now, she wants him to keep quiet about her past, and in return she will keep quiet about his (including not posting a convenient picture of him). In addition she has a problem; she can't get aroused by anyone... anyone aside of MC ofcourse. so she sticks to him to keep tabs on him.
enter other girls, sex, two of them becoming more intimate and a whole lot of high octane twists and sex, and you have the basic premise of this webcomic.
The biggest two selling points are it's artwork and premise, and the likeable main couple.
Kkokkio the artist has a unique art style, which is warm, childish cute and sexy at the same time. He has a talent for drawing cute and innocent girls.
In addition, I find the main couple likeable. Male lead is a bit young, naive, he was bullied but in essence he isn't a loser, and the heroine is appealing enough with her mix of cuteness and strength-in-charge. although she can be commanding and a tsundere, she is never bossy or annoying. there is also an appeal in a girl who can kick the boy's ass but is instead having s with him or is on her knees... you know.
Anyways, these factors are strengths of the webcomic.
Now onto the weaknesses:
Story doesnt progress emotionally. from one side i understand, if it did, it would naturally lead to the main couple becoming a couple and goind steady (sexually) and that's bad if you're selling an adult themed webcomic.
But then, there are other ways in which the plot could emotionally progress and which could also be reflected in sex scenes; they can start resolving their past, she can try to redeem herself, she can have a fear of him rejecting her how that she cares about him, he might see a different perspective of a person he was afraid of... add guilt and physical attraction and you have a winning recipe.
perhaps tables can turn and he is in charge now of a girl that can still beat him up but is now obedient, be it from own will (she wants him to accept her) or HIS blackmail.
add to this the challenges they need to face and building trust between the two, and you would have a powerful plot with engaging characters. This is the true potential of such a setup.
But sadly, next to nothing of it is used. the story starts with him kind of weary of her, they start getting more intimate (she likes his D), more things happen, he kind of starts understanding her, she kind of starts being attracted to him. their relationship implicitly grows but they never really talk about it. they just have sex and go through the high octane plot, dispite being obvious they care for each other.
Secondly, the herione, Akai Ko, is a huge waste of a well drawn heroine in such a good plot setup. She a former delinquent that put her past behind her and became diligent university student. her supposed weaknesses are that she can't handle alcohol and that she isn't aroused by anyone aside of MC. But I think that her real weaknesses as a character are she never shows any weakness NOR any remorse for what she's done. She never tully has a doubt, never really truly worries, never is truly terrified, she never shed a tear (except during sex) nor does she ever apologize to MC for anything. she never explicitly wants to have a fresh start with him dispite liking him. she never really starts feeling bad for her behavior during high school (again, HUGE wasted potential). I get that her blackmailing him with his old pic was a plot device, but this too can be used as an arc for their growth. but it never does.
Which brings me to the third weakness of this webcomic: there's no chill. the main couple gets roped in from one situation to the next, interspersed with them (or others) having sex. now, that's OK, but periods of rushing need to be broken up with periods of peace. for example, things happen in the club, he manages to save her, they manage to get out of the whole thing relatively ok. now they're in the bus home. the next few chapters should see them lick their wounds, have a bath, affirm emotional bond, shortly talk about what could have been, have sex with a new perspective, and overall bond and deepen their relationship. but no, a phone rings and he has to rush somewhere else. or she wants sex so they have sex even before going home or into a room, then someone tapes it...
IT'S TIRING. for a story to function, it has to be periodic; periods of rush and action need to be interspersed with period of quiet, rest and emotional bonding.
Also, one can notice the slight drop in quality of art as the story progresses, even for example in facial and body close-ups of the main heroine.
it's as if the author and artist are pressured to just pump out more and more and keep it a high octane drama. which is sad, this could have been such a good story.
Still, i give it a 7 because of the art and overal dramatic setup, even if it's potential never gets fully used.
Unlike other webtoons not only does this have great art, it also has a great story. This is the few manwha where i find myself laughing internally and sometime externally
