Description

After a car accident, Taemin finds himself in the body of Siwon, who was a victim of bullying at school. No longer a pushover, he starts standing up for himself but then meets Woojin, an old friend from the past. Somehow, Woojin immediately picks up Tamin's 'scent' from Siwon. What happened between these two in the past and how will it affect their future?

One of the glaring differences between manga (Japanese) and manhua/webcomics (Korean) is overall lack of melodrama in the latter--and I love that.That's not to say that melodrama is nonexistent in manhua, because there are those that I wouldn't even touch with a 10-foot-pole, but there is an overall lack, and that's awesome. Long story short, I hate melodrama, I hate weak characters (so weak that they can't function on their own), and I dislike stories without plot but...yaoi, so...

It has been so refreshing to read a story with an interesting protagonist. He also has not only his shit to straighten out, but also...well, another person's. Also, let it be said that although he doesn't know the correct answer to everything, he (the protagonist) always puts 100% attention and effort into whatever he's doing. Well, maybe not studying, but all other facets of life. XD There are so many layers to be peeled back here, and it's slow but sure approach is solid and interesting, indeed. I am so looking forward to the climax of this series.

Also, Taemin was such a hottie. What a waste...

Beautiful Art, Some Plotholes Left

It's been a few days now since I finished reading this -- so I've time to cool my head a little. It was an intriguing story at first as Taemin tries to navigate someone else's complicated life while simultaneously trying to avoid detection by the astute Woojin. The art and characterisation were great on the most part, well worth a read for that alone (certainly got me neglecting all my other responsibilities in a bid to finish it as quickly as possible...).

However, there were many questions left unresolved in the end. What supernatural force made them swap bodies? What happened in Taemin's past? Somehow the backstories weren't detailed enough to be satisfying, for me. Also the antagonist seemed quite shallow, he seemed like a scapegoat for everything that went wrong - he didn't feel fully fleshed out.

A highly enjoyable read, with some flaws.

I hate that everyone involved with the bullying didn't suffer any real consequences of their actions, and the seme even allied himself with the worst one of them in the end... wtf and the supposed villain is just pathetic

The romance is senseless, they are just together because they were friends who bonded over trauma one time when they were kids??

Interesting drama and gorgeous art!

The plot is engaging and not formulaic like so many other BL stories. Although the main romantic relationship is key to the plot, it doesn't read like a romance. I don't think it will be satisfying for readers who are expecting a romantic drama. As a psychological drama, though, I really enjoyed it. And I do like the romantic elements!

Rape, bullying, and abuse are used as plot devices, but unlike many other stories I've read, this one doesn't make light of serious issues or pair up characters who have seriously harmed each other. At the same time, it's not about those topics, so their impact isn't deeply explored. I can understand why some readers would be put off by that, but I prefer this over stories where trauma is neatly tied up and solved at the end or where it becomes a character's entire personality.

This webtoon isn't perfect, but it's higher quality than the majority of the webtoons I've read. Definitely worth reading.

Undeveloped characters. Taemin is my favourite. Incomplete and lacklustre ending. Dull antagonists. Predictable plot. Glossed-over plot-holes. Well-executed dark realism. Evokes a desire for more. Recommended for those wanting a second-chance that doesn't come with consequences.

Great Art But....

...the story is off. To be fair, the beginning of the story is kinda attractive, it's interesting and it pulls the readers in. I love how Siwon (Taemin) fights and stands on his own but seriously saying, can't the author at least give us some idea on how the body (or more like soul) switching happened in the first place? Perhaps the author wants us to be as confused as Siwon/Taemin but the next question is, does nobody care that the real Siwon is gone? I mean...

especially the twin brother, Jiwook should at least know that his twin brother is gone. Or does it mean that Siwon/Taemin is not supposed to tell everyone that he's Taemin and the real Siwon is gone. Is that it? Somehow the more I think about it, the more I get confused.

Anyway, i feel like there are some holes here and there and the author didn't bother filling it, perhaps to leave it to our own imagination.

And until now i still don't understand how Joohoon and WooJin actually worked together. One thing I really love is the art. The story is not completely super bad but it could have been better.

Props to Haribo for hashing an engaging plot despite everyone being really unlikable in this world--everyone but Siwon and Taemin that is (they're the guys that were body-swapped). I appreciate the details down to the different sets of facial expressions used for Siwon to distinguish between the two individuals.

Did I love it? No. Did I at least like it? Eh, it was okay. But I can't discount the fact that I couldn't stop reading it because it was entertaining to read trashy guys repeatedly attempt to trash Siwon.

In some parallel universe, there's a love story between Siwon and Taemin and Woojin is that Machiavellian asshole trying to break them apart (but he fails!).

it's a story that is well done. Lezhin has some quality manga. I went ahead and bought the coins necessary but be warned, if you want to support the site and author, it's going to get expensive. T_T

This had more potential than was realized. Characters and situations ended up being pretty shallow. Art style also took some time to get adjusted to.
