Description

Great slice of life

this was a good story. One of healing and overcoming past relationships with people in similar situations. I think this story is the embodiment of the enemies to lovers troupe. It exemplifies everything so well. i also loved their last talk. they don't know for certain if they'll be together in the future, but they'll do whatever they can to make it work.

This is a great slice of life, with many great lessons. I'll miss it terribly

This is such a great read and I loved the art. I pretty much liked all the characters. The different relationships and personalities were portrayed so well without any judgement. People could learn from this when it comes to relationships and when to let go.

As I said I appreciated how there was no judgement toward characters from the author. She didn't try to paint anyone as a villain. I especially mean FL's potential mother-in-law who might come through as nosy but she actually did a favor for both of them stating the obvious that they need to agree on this child topic before they get married.

I also liked FL's ex too how he accepted the fate of their relationship and that love is simply not enough instead of acting nasty. In reality once someone is yearning for a child they won't be able to just give that up if their partner don't want any. There is a bigger chance for the other person changing their mind on the topic but it honestly doesn't worth the risk (like getting married on the basis of someone might change their mind in the future). Sometimes loving eachother really is not enough.

a realistic take on relationships

This work gives a layered view on how relationships develop and change through different times in life and the different purposes. A little bit of drama, a bit of a rushed ending but realistic all in all and definitely insightful for younger generations to gain a mature look on relationships.

I have nothing much to say. The story has a lot of drama but unlike most other typical one's, it deals it realistically. The first season especially was the best thing happened. The peak of the manga was also it's most heartbreaking. My disappointment is only with how suddenly and quickly they ended the story. There was more to explore, mostly the side characters. The main characters could have been benefited too. Other than that it was a great story and a great idea. You don't usually see a story like this one.

This was consistently a great read that explores love and relationships, its really good. Great art and characters.

Unfortunately it ends rather suddenly, I felt there was still more storyline that could have been explored. Some couples really could have benefited from better closure.

So good so far. As of chapter 93 i found myself swept up in the story and before i even knew it i was 93 chapters in and hooked. The different sides of love and emotions they explore get surprisingly deep and refreshing at times. I didn't go into this with high expectations just expected a cute fun story about actors in love (which I've always been a sucker for since i saw skip beat for the first time). I'm pleasantly surprised by how good the writing is at times in this manhua. I'd recommend giving checking it out.

Update: the story has come to an end now and i dropped my rating half a point cause i would've liked maybe a few more chapters for a truly well wrapped and satisfying ending and maybe peaking into their relationship and life in the future a bit more. I'm probably nit picking though. The ending was still cute and the series was a delight. Highly recommend.

I hardly give a 10 to any story, but this one? THIS ONE DESERVES! I can't begin to explain how much I love this story, it's the perfect balance of romance, drama and storytelling.

The development here is so natural and human, each character has reasons and none of them are bad, they just have different ideas of life, goals and dreams and because of that, their relationships end. Sometimes, we distance ourselves from some people because of various circumstances, even though we love them. Sometimes things just don't work out and we have to learn to let go, for us and for them too. This story understands that, it's bittersweet, sad, but in the end, realistic and hopeful.

I also like how the development between FL and ML blossoms, first, people who didn't get along, to a true friendship where one supports the other to move forward, and so on, until romantic feelings appears. Also I love how FL isn't afraid of her feelings, sheis not your typical shoujo protagonists: "what feelings are these aaaa" No, both, ( FL and ML) are adults who alredy had real relationships, they have traumas, problems and they're trying to move on. There's still a lot to develop, especially ML and his need for attention, but that doesn't make him an imbecile ML like others, he knows his problems, he knows that's what destroyed his previous relationship , but he doesn't know how to not having these feelings, making him afraid to enter in another relationship. Again, is human and understandable and he's trying

The author also lost her husband this year, in the middle of season two, which put the story on a hiatus that ended just a few weeks ago, and I can't help but appreciate her and her work. Because, it's not easy to go back to drawing and writing a series about romance, which involves themes like loss and so on, after something like that. Really, this story deserves more love and recognition, give it a chance, you won't be disappointed, there is a lot of love and reflection put into it.

Unexpectedly illuminating

Manhua seem to be a notorious medium, but leaving that aside, this is one of those that actually make you question yourself and leave you with something valuable.

Recommended for both art and plot.
