Description

grade school romance, half-assed art

It is like reading the very first romance some kid wrote and drew in primary school. It wouldn't surprise me if the demographic was shoujo, if it weren't for the sex.

Would not recommend if you never liked shoujo manga.

Tastes aside, it is so bad it would have became somewhat good or revolutionary even, if the abnormal, childish, weird understanding of romance is strictly restricted to Lou. He's young and a dragon. Making him behave like a child but also in heat would have been plausible. The rest of the characters behaving like that isn't.
I don't see the reason why it has to be two guys for this story to happen. It doesn't tell any gay experience. Perhaps because in stories, princesses don't just normally become queens? Maybe it is alright to have a shoujo romance featuring two guys in a gay world... I need to put my gay neurotypical thoughts aside... Perhaps it would be good for some Au/DHD gay kids... But then it reflects the wrong views of the world in full view, patriarchy, heteronormative expectations, unrealistic body expectations...
The art, storytelling and everything is bad. It is like if a wonky table, plastered with wood veneer and cheap polish turned into a webcomic. Or if someone made a cheap game, from a cheap story from a cheap ghostwriter, using cheap assets, spending a bit more on the character model but still cheap, without much game design knowledge. But webcomic edition.

Everything I just mentioned aside, some effort seems to have been put into creating it. It just isn't a particularly good or valuable creation.

Of value seems to only be the weird childish understanding of relationships and love and romance and living. And perhaps any enjoyment someone with similar understandings of love could derive from the work.

I loved the story so much that I’ve read it a few times. There is definitely a happy ending to the story and the extras get into the past and the future of the main couple as well as the side couple (the side couple are actually the adoptive parents of the ML).

Side Note:
This is one of those stories that delve into love behind to beings that have different life spans (dragon = 300 years vs human = ~70-100 years) and no power to extend lifespans. Few stories go into something like this, because then by default a traditional happy ending is still bittersweet. in the end, depending on what your viewpoint is, this might be what makes the story better than most or stick with you longer than most because it’s bitter sweet. For me, I thought it was a very cute love story between the prince and the Dragon, however it is bittersweet. The last side story goes into the dragon really internalizing that all the people he loves are aging, including the prince.
