Description

Two people who met for the first time today. Should we have the "world's best wedding" 3 years later? The Nanami High School that Ui enters is a special school where girls and boys spend their dorm life in a shared room, aiming for the world's best wedding. Kon, the guy chosen as Ui's partner by the super accurate matching system, is an ever so slightly malicious guy?

There were only 1 or 2 rivals, and none of them stood even an iota of chance.
It's a really simple and sweet story with peaceful lives for our main couples. I enjoyed reading up to the current volume (10).

The female lead is quite bubbly and sweet despite her past and I'm glad the male lead treats her well! He may not be the emotional type, but he certainly comes to care for her pretty soon.

Shoujo manga where the couple communicates

Got very surprised by this shoujo manga.

First, the premise of the school is ridiculous and unrealistic (but this is a manga anyway). As the story goes on, it becomes fun. Some parts may be over the top or cliche, but nevertheless still fun.

The characters there are loveable and I love their development, be it the main couple or their friends. The ML is especially refreshing, and the side couples also have some screen time about their progress. Then it has a relatively healthy relationship where the couple there communicate their thought and feeling to each other.

And yes, it is sweet <3

This is my updated opinion.

When I first picked this up, I was completely shocked by the whole marriage school premise, like everything seemed so ridiculous I couldn't wrap my head around all these tests of love they would go through (like what adult came up with this??). There were many times I cringed and the FL's personality was not my cup of tea, especially in the first few chapters where I feel like she was forcing her feelings/ideas on others. The ML also seemed like a by the book, stereotypical, aloof jerk. Well, I am so glad I stuck with it because °°character development°°. ML turns out to be a great foil to the FL. He is a calculating, in it to win it type guy in complete contrast to the highly idealistic FL and surprisingly, it's refreshing! They butt heads because of their differing views but eventually come to a place of mutual respect and understanding of each other's values. And that becomes the start of an actual relationship between them, which is satisfying to read! Kon becomes soft on Ui and opens up and I love that Ui knows and just accepts his cynicism lol. The scenarios are still ridiculous but I got over it. They are diabetically sweet so they can get away with it. =w=)b

I look forward to reading this manga every month now!
