From Shoujo Crusade:
Riko Mitsumi is sixteen year-old girl who is pretty and a good student. She would be like most girls if she wasn't constantly dreaming about sex and using a pseudonym to write about it.
4 Volumes (Complete)

I started reading this a million years ago, and I decided to finish it just because and...
it was awful
just plain awful shoujo/smut manga
The smut scenes are top notch for a shoujo/josei manga, and the art was pretty nice too. Humor and plot were also nicely mixed. The main character is also not too annoying--her desires and fears are easy to relate to. (nervous laughter) The plot, however, is a bit shallow.
But there was one thing that pestered me A LOT.
The author made the mistake of turning our main love interest into a quote-spouting machine. GOD. He just kept spewing out those random love-related quotes from famous people, and the quotes were so cliche that I wanted to cry. The quotes totally didn't fit with the manga!!!
I mean, WHO SHOUTS OUT RANDOM QUOTES OF FAMOUS PEOPLE WHILE HAVING S*X?
"All is fair in love and war," he would say, and then follow up with the person who made the quote. That is so weird!! @_@
And what's worse is that his quotes are so distracting, and occur every chapter. It was a big problem for me.
The smut scenes oh my (@.@) .. Very nice imagination for the smut scenes. But found it didn't have much of a story besides.. And how on earth are they having sex everywhere with out getting in shit. Makes no sense.. Starts off with instant smutt. A quick meeting. Quick interactions. Then dragged on drama. With drama ending.
The beginning of the story is pretty nice actually, it shows how girls would actually fantasize about sex and react to it. Kinda cool ya know! The story was okay, it wasn't good nor was it bad. And the one character I'd hate to death would probably be that A-Ko. I mean, what's the point of snatching someone else's boyfriend?! Just imagine if you snatches someone's bf and in return, another person snatches your bf. It hurts doesn't it? And that A-Ko chick is so freaking annoying.
And I find the flow of the storyline is pretty smooth! It doesn't feel jumpy, like cuts here and there or something like that. I love how each chapter's storyline flows into the next. Something that's quite rare in a shoujo manga and oh, the smutty scenes. It wasn't THAT explicit, since there are some smutty manga that is way more smutty than this, but yeah, it was okay! Nice read but it's not something that I'd read again though.
typical shoujo premise with forgettable mains. even the smut was all lackluster and typical "omg nooo!!" blusshhhhhh and the male turning into an almost rapist ;/
only gets points for the debut of the "r" character and the male lead spouting classic lit lines lol.
It's not sooo bad. I've read better. And in my opinion the artwork doesn't help it. Sigh
The characters are lovely but the story is so so.. It actually reminds me of Momoiro Heaven! but I think that one is actually better =/
I mean how many interruptions can they really have? I also hate the meddling conniving character types i.e. Eiko. I mean she wasn't even his girlfriend. She's so cocky and such a bitch! Grr!! >:0 grinds my gears But it had a nice ending so I'm content =)
Well if you like smut Manga this one is for you
The love story is great I loved Riko and Minato
The twist in the first and second volume was so funny but in the 3rd and 4th it changed (you'll understand what I mean when you read it
To much smut and to much drama this one is a must read though I didn't like the art much
The quotes are the best point in this manga...I can't wait to read and write down more of them...So far, the one I like the best is when Minato quotes the Exupery's saying about the lovers: " To love - is not to look at one another, it is to look together in the same direction". 🙂
It was a very interesting read and I'm happy I came across it but saddly there's only 4 volumes I rlly cba to wait for this its a shame its the type where u would want it to continue non stop but overall yeah I enjoyed it.
I was rather iffy whenever I read the synopsis for this series, but I finally gave it a shot today, and boy am I glad. The mangaka is totally running with this story, and I'm happy she did because I can't remember laughing so hard for a long time. Hope this continues to be scanlated!
