To name its strengths the manga starts interesting, with a good concept that took advantage of a popular trend, and I personally liked the MC, who is neither shy nor a coward; the main character also has several quirks that reference classic heroes in JRPG (like liking to barge into open houses and rummage trough people's stuff among others), something I found pretty clever and funny. Finally, the manga had some nice character designs, but mostly for girls; nothing too interesting on backgrounds, monsters, or anything else, really.
That's it; the manga itself quickly becomes aimless and it never manages to get the stakes high at all; it feels like everything is pointless because nobody is evil. Characters keep appearing and adding close to nothing to the plot, a few battles that lack weight and feel rather static from an artistic point of view, and then it ends.
It felt like a novel that was adapted to manga by a mangaka that has no idea what the story is about (if you have seen something like that, you will likely get what I mean), and likely this is because the writer is a novel author and the mangaka was a hentai artist, perhaps not used to this kind of work.
All in all, a real shame the idea wasn't taken to a better resolution; maybe someday somebody will do something similar but with a better execution. Both the author and the artist have plenty of potential, newer stuff they had made seem to be doing quite well too, even if it's not exactly to my tastes.
