A single father takes pity on a drunken man outside his bar, only to be taunted by his equally adorable, and impudent young daughter. Little did they know that he will play a major part in their life.
Oneshot (Complete)

This was.. really odd indeed. Like, the humour is there and I appreciate it, but that was cut short to make room for the romance which imo also wasn't quite as developed as could be. It's just a bit.. half-way done imo. But there is potential here that I will acknowledge.
i just read it because i keep seeing it wherever i go so i had to put an end at it, and i read it, it does'nt have anythings special, just the ending so funny !! haha
the dad of the dauther say to the other man , i don't mind being with you i quite like you too ! but only if your willing to accepete being my dauther's mother, ' i'm willing to be the mother !' is what he says, and the next days, he's at school taking his boyfriend's dauther home and the dauther says he's my papa ,and the boyfrined in mind, want to go home and see him with naked apron ! hahah the role reversed !!
i reread it to make sure i don't miss any page, but it seem that's it. the characters are interesting, the artwork is beautiful, but there's just a huge sense of incompleteness that make this reading experience jarring.
BL tends to stick to the fantastic when looking for gay to eroticize - inconceivably beautiful boys having inconceivably awesome sex with inconceivably little consequences.
"After the Child Sleeps", meanwhile, has a premise that is almost jarringly realistic. Two divorced, middle-aged gay men, one with a child, meet and decide to cohabitate with nary a shoujo bubble in sight. And yes, it manages to be sexy.
