I just binged this in a day.
It is literally flawless.
The characters feel so real. Her (Ji Youyan's) love and her regrets are right there for us to see and easily empathise with. Her driven personality after years of regretful living is incredibly admirable. And makes one consider how we should live our lives...it's not like you have to die to be able to live better.
Of course she's not the only character. Jing Xiu feels very real, too. And the side characters so far I've nothing bad to say about er they're written.
I suppose if I had to say something, it's that at one or two points, I'm wondering why they don't realise what they're saying in a car can be heard by those in the front seats 😛
Art is also very beautiful.
And the comedy! I've laughed more than I expected, going in. And the general cuteness often mixed with light-heartedness or small bits of comedy have me smiling a lot these past 49 chapters.
I love this. I'm tempted to read the book. But the manhua execution is just too good.
edit: I later read ahead using the machine translations that are passing around up to around ch 90s. This series is so great that even the sub-par translations can't hide it. I'll re-read when the better quality comes out but...yeah this is a great series.
Unfortunately the good quality novel translations aren't much farther either and I really don't want to go into mtl forms of that.
