Description

The serious Ito and the child-like Nishi meet by chance during a single player game of "White Line Game" on the way home from school. Falling in-love, Ito gets frustrated over the fact that they only get to rendezvous on the white line and suddenly kisses Nishi. From high school, college and then to adulthood, a deeply moving work depicting the lives of two men who are madly in love with unchanging feelings within changing realities.

Beautiful, yet sad and frustrating as hell...

It's one of the stories you love and hate at the same time. Full of sweetness and sadness, scenes you cannot forget, even if you cry when you think about them. Angst, love and regret. I've just read it for the second and third time, and I am still crying a river over it. I love Yuuki and Akira makes me angry, but I wish him to be happy, because he isn't a bad person and because Yuuki loves him and he loves Yuuki. But well, he is a coward, and probably for the first time in my life there moment I wished Yuuki would be happy with someone else. I was so angry at him, when

he broke up with Yuuki I would like to slap him. I didn't like it when Yuuki slept with that other guy he met at bar, and I don't understand why mangaka showed it tu us. She didn't do do with Yuuki and Akira's first time, but she draw Yuuki having empty sex with a stanger.
It's hard to forgive Akira that he destroyed their relationship, and I cannot forgive him he loved Yuuki so much, he dreamt about him, but then he basically resigned from being his one and only sex parter, when it was him who took first step to be with him in the first place. I don't understand why Akira hasn't got a detective to find Yuuki and he waited for three more years just to meet him in Alaska by pure coincidence, he lost a few priceless years by it. Maybe he thought Yuuki found happiness by then, but honestly he should find him to be sure. Also, when we saw their mother pregnant in extra chapter my first thought was: it was their fault Akira will leave Yuuki, because they wanted them to be married so much.
After I read it again I saw a few things new for me. Like after Akira broke up with Yuuki the latter one is crying on the street, when he sees this white line ends.
Or when Yuuki fies as a over eighty years old man he wakes up looking like he was almost seventy, just like at the time Akira died. And then he gets younger and younger, so when he sees a line in corridor he looks like a teenager, when they first met. And then when he runs to Akira both of them are teenagers in their high school uniforms. And at the end after we see they disappear in the sky, there is a plane flying, and I bet it was a plane to or from Alaska.

Oh no, I am crying again.
This story doesn't end at the moment most of stories are. It's just keep forward till the main leads deaths, like everyone do. They had a quite long and happy life together, but we still cry, even though they are happy in the afterlife, together at the countless dates. For me it too much sadness and too much frustrating.
It's a magical story of love, but not for these who are oversensitive, like me.
Somewhat I wish I've never read it. I feel like I am going obsessed and crazy from this.
I wish they are happy forever

Yeah, it's actually good, has decent drama but rushed. It's like you totally immersed in the story but then it ends abruptly like...bamm! happy sweet life~! ( I mean I want Ito to suffer a bit more lol )
It's still enjoyable btw. Possibly better than draggy drama and angst.

because my tears keep on flowing. The best part in this manga is how the author connected the intro and the ending. If this was only not a volume long, and has more depth, I bet the story would be a tattoo in my brain.

Short, sweet story with its sore painful moments. Couldn't help but cry a lot and I will cry again and again whenever I remember the last part and the art the mangaka used to illustrate those moments, really good job wrapping it up with those scenes.

A rare 10 points for me and yes I CRIED. I like happy endings and I read for The Fluff and this...was cheesy, had fluff, and the feels... was quite real. A real life happy ending. A pity it wasn’t longer and more detailed. It feels like a happy life’s resume and I WOULD LOVE TO READ THE WHOLE STORY.

I think a length of only 1 volume does not fit for this type of manga. It almost never works, unless you're a genius in writing, but sadly it's not the case with this one. It was rushed and lacking, there was simply not enough room to unfold the characters' inner thoughts, emotions, doubts, development, nothing. The whole manga felt like it was just a long trailer for something big, that was never written... It was simply unsatisfactory for me. Which is a shame, because the characters were interesting and likeable (even Akira), their dynamic and chemistry worked well, there were several heart-warming and cute scenes, plus the art is really pretty, but in the end it was too rushed.

This manga ,after finished reading it,left me with bitter and sore feeling,specially last 2 chapters...
I wont read it again for sure,but it was good manga for those who dont mind bitter sore ending...the beginning of the manga was so bright and refreshing,but last 2 chapters were like you reading another manga(it was like a trap), The ending almost put me in to tears and suffocated ,its expected as life goes on , So we dont want to see how it ll end (it made me each time I read a yaoi manga remember "oh those couple will end like in " Life Senjou no Bokura" , we dont wont to see what it is obvious for life how it ll go and end...she didnt bring anything new but she made us picture it which is Suck....
Didnt like how the manga ka was unfair with Uke ,The seme was bastard.
From chapter 1 to 3 so pure and refreshing,wont read again last 2 chapters for sure which were realistic,sore and somehow frustrating
Bad encounter from the uke side,wished he(the uke) didn't follow the line maybe his life would had been better...this manga made me dont want to read yaoi for the time being ,as the last pages of the last chapter of the uke keep repeating in my mind and made me depressed ...
My rating for the art and somehow for the first 3 chapters

NOO WHY AM I CRYING SO MUCH!! T______T This needs a tragedy tag, I didn't expect to be clobbered by so many onion-cutting ninjas. Such a beautiful, bitter-sweet story.
