I ain’t gon lie, this story and most of the fight scenes were only mid. Wanted more time with the side characters, lightning grandma too, but they weren’t super important which was a disappointment. I do however really like the twisted but genuine nature of love between the two main characters. It wasn’t a simple love at first sight, and their relationship takes a few surprise turns. It was cliched, but done in a slightly refreshing way which I appreciate.

The scene near the end with the tower was really great. That was a well-written and drawn scene. The tension, despair, and hope was chef’s kiss. I could feel their emotions very palpably :( Badass cold ml turned blubbering mess except in a good way.

Love the story, now I wanna go to the novel for the spicy scenes - they teased us too much about it T.T

One part of the final chapter I really liked was how they ended the chapter, which felt poetic and echoed back to the title.

Yiseon and Hyeon strolled hand in hand, gazing at the serene blue sky. As Yiseon stepped forwaed, his shadow gre longer behind him. It was a day when the traces of the sun reached far and wide

Somehow, it felt as though our mc has finally stepped back into the sunlight that had been devoid in his life for so long, and allowing himself to feel it.

It's a letdown because people keep bringing up the MC's instability but not about treating it (until the end)! Everything is a little shallow in that way.

i enjoyed the storyline even though at times the ml kinda irk me. i really liked how the ending wrapped the story up nicely! the story doesnt really focus alot on the romance and is more action based, so if ur into that i think this would be a good manwha to start with 🙂
