Description

Once the bullies target you, it’s game over. The school is run by tyrants whose favorite hobby is tormenting the weakest kids in class. But then Gray arrived. This mysterious new student threatens to dismantle the established order. i thought it was good until i realized its totally pointless :D i mean they fight for NO REASON :D im at ch 120+..they fight for nothing :D
Like, theres no gang suppressing them, theres nothing standing in the " union" way ..they just fight coz its fun to bully ? its rather pointless all. id understand if the weak heroes ware like systematically trying to make school better etc.. but theyre not, they just hanging out, then boom, some random fight :D makes NO sense. Would be nice if there was some kind of a end game GOAL ...but there isnt. Plus, the way they fight..theres no way most of them arnt brain dead or cripples after the hits they take :D This should have been TWO different manhwas lol. one story has nothing to do with another. one is of the weak heroes and bullies.. and then theres the bullies trying to bully em self in to the business world.. makes NO SENSE why this story is like this :D im basically skimming most of the ch coz it has little to nothing to do with the mc and hes friends.

Just go read Devil Returns To School Days this has awesome plot and a clear GOAL. plus the mc is a fkn lunatic :D

Watching the MC fought ruins many fighting manhwa for me

No useless high-minded ideal. He paid back what was unfair. He ruled the bullies with fear. He fought with weapons and could be as cruel as need be. More importantly, he didn't care about crossing the line because his most important thing in life was already taken away from him.

No other manhwa painted a mc with more desperate and told a fighting story more worthy about being desperate in fighting than this one. Why the heck would he need to tune down his violence? Why the heck did he need to be afraid if something bad happened to his enemy? MC was not your typical shounen protag. He fought using what his tools and his meagre strength could provide. You could read many manhwa out there telling a story of a mc being treated unfairly, being cornered but those MCs acted so mediocre in their fighting that it turned me off. They fought as if they were just a regular person while the story itself spoke loud and clear that the MC was pushed into corner. None of those manhwa did half the job Weak Hero did in making a fight more human and authentic.

I could say I had never read a school bully revenge story more satisfying than Weak Hero.

gray is de hype beast

Has some nice moments, but feels superficial and repetitive. Hype moments belongs to gray, while others are just fillers. It's all centric to gang fights, punch on face over and over again. Never explore anything other than gang members. Girl/family interaction are near non-existent in the manhwa. Just who the top dogs are. And that pretty much sums it up.

The story doesn't show the impact done outside the school, it fails to follow on what happened when people in power abuse their authority with so many evidence available against them just
There is so many better manga's out there the closest thing to weak hero is Ultimate legend kang hae hyo just reached 127 on the hope it will become good because of the reputation but it's get annoying that there is no consensus to anything that happens in the webtoon

Great Early On

Great read for the first 120 or so chapters. Rather season two and three has been an utter disappointment from season one with too many flashbacks and less Grey. That and the I can do no wrong and plans fall perfectly into place gary stu main baddie Donnie. Petty I know but that's just my opinion.

Changed the rating since the flashbacks are still being handed out more than actual real time progression.

Changed the rating even further after this final fight with Gray and Donald.

A complete and total copout by the author. Gray has fought and beat his opponents into smashed hamburger but now he turns his back when Donald falls and doesn't finish him off? Allowing Donald to get back up and one shot him. What a load of horseshit!!!!

Dropping it to a 1 after the truck-kun chapter and the following backstory that we're supposed to feel sorry for Donny because his past sucked. What a copout that it takes a literal truck to bring him down. Also milking the story even further with his sob story.

Delightfully ridiculous

As of ch.60. The setting and plot are utterly bonkers, but the characters are what makes this so good, and the friendships between them that naturally grow. Even got some good 'enemies to friends' in there as well which is fun.

But it's shounen, so that's to be expected. The main thing that is really stupid to me is that the MC is the only one who knows how to fight dirty. Knowing he fights dirty, people still go after him without any weapons or anything. No way.

Amazing characters!

The story, plot, and characters are so damn nice. Instead of all the other high school gang manhwa, this one actually has such a good and strong storyline. This manhwa are so heartwarming and at times makes you wanna cry (especially during the Stephen arc, like damn I cried). Also the mc, gray, isn’t powerful for no reason, seeing him win in all those fights is so damn satisfying too.

Overall it’s great read, all the character development is so nice, and how gray opens his heart more as the comic goes on. The backstories are so sad and tear-jerking, but the only kinda off thing is the art style. The art isn’t the best but the story makes it worth the read. Also the fights are epic.
