The manga is good at depicting human feelings. But sucks in everything else.
The supernatural element covers all holes of detective part of the story, and do all the police work.
If you want to read some good detective story, look for it somewhere else.
It was ass-pull territory from the 2nd volume onward. If you didn't expect super-natural elements from a mystery-themed manga I don't know what to tell you.
Reminds me of those a slow burn Western crime drama tv series. Everything was great with a couple of good twists here and there. That was until the final chapter when the author decided to ass-pull some supernatural elements out of nowhere to close out the whole thing. And he wasn't able to tie up all loose ends either.
