Description

Everyone always says to set high goals for oneself. Sei-Ann, an orphaned young lady who was raised in the care of a noblewoman, does just that when she decides she’ll become the prince’s bride. With above average looks and ambitions that would rival that of a king, Sei-Ann is determined to leave her social status behind and become the wife of the next Crown Prince. Ever since she was a child, she knew that she was somehow special and was meant to go places. And even if it meant enduring a marriage with the most hideous looking prince, she feels it would be a small price to pay to claim her fate as the First Lady of the kingdom.

Pretty Art, But Lackluster, Boring, and Annoyingly Cliche

I usually write pretty long reviews, but this manga is just . . . boring. There's nothing special about it. It's unoriginal, falls into multiple cliches over and over again, and does nothing to change the genre. It's okay, but honestly, the female protagonist started off spunky and fleshed out into an annoying, ethically righteous character. The plot is just downright too complicated and badly-developed with poor explanations and "twists" that don't make sense. The art is probably the most attractive point of the manga, like many have mentioned, and even that isn't the best in the world.

TL;DR: It's not good, not special, too cliche, very frustrating, and it's only mildly pretty. Therefore, 2/10.

at the beginning the girl is pretty annoying. I have to admit that but just keep reading and she'll get stronger. she will not depend in those guys and will stand on her own in the end. so yes, just keep reaidng.

Woo! I freaking love this, man! When I haven't start reading and saw the art on the first page, I was a lil put down, guess i like manga art more than manhwa art, HAH. Manhwa art has always extra details in it. Well, ok, so i told myself since i had already kinda seen the first page, might as well continue, OH MY GOSH that was a great decision i made! The story plot was AWESOME, well haha, actually, it's kinda like those typical k-drama plot, where there's guys will all like this one girl (or not hehe), then there'll be jealousy in the air maybe not among the guys, but some other characters in the story, and there's like this 'mission' the girl is trying to find out something, you know i can't say in detail, because this is too AWESOME to give spoilers around, hah~ Totally enjoyed this, without a doubt would recommend this to anyone, I just love everything about it, and you know after looking at the drawing for quite some time, my first impression of it was downright so wrong, i mean it deserves more credit than what i said in the beginning, this author is really talented, she can draw anything, from those cute lil characters to those pretty handsome one and not forgetting those breathtaking sceneries, wao i would want to see it with my own eyes if i had the chance, or even if it's real or just coming out from the author's imagination, totally no idea.

Aww, shucks, though yes i love the ending, but i wish to have an extra story, where i can see Sei-Ann and Shion talking casual to each other, those little arguers, hahaha so funny to see them having a good time with each other

The main guys are gorgeous, and their love for the main character is cute. I love the costumes depicted and overall everything is wonderful..... except, it's quite unoriginal and the main girl is down right annoying to me.

the art is good.
it is just sad that that the author didn't give any further explaination about flame of the sea, and that a misunderstood that went for years solved just within just one day when the king's around.. also the interaction between the prince shion and sehee ann was less than her's with prince joon... I wanna see them together more often...

over all, it's a good manhwa.. I enjoyed it so much, although at first I read it from right to left which left me so confused catching the plot 😀 .. remember to read it LEFT TO RIGHT.

Pretty Good

I first came across this manhwa when I was searching for other works by Kim Hee Eun. At first look it wasn't really what I would like to read plus the art compare to the latest work by this mangka wasn't as great. The art was still nice and pretty though. Well after not having anything really interesting to read I decided to give this a chance....And I'm glad I did! The story is the regular Fairy Tail with a few twists here and there. I gave this a 7 only because some elements were predictable. If the story were to be a bit more unexpected or surprising it would've been an 8. Also it's your regular Shoujo almost. Almost all the guys fall for the girl as usual. I found this alot more entertaining then i originally thought. I would recommend this to any Shoujo loving person 🙂 enjoyabe to read and the art is nice with good characters.

Not very interesting

So I thought I'd give this a try but was very disappointed with it. The female main character acts very childishly and given her appearance, I thought she'd be someone who's very strong and won't give in to anything. At the very least, I thought she did fight back when the educators hit her. And what more, even though I knew who she's gonna end up with, but how come there's so little of romance between them?! It's more like as if the whole story is focus on her and the 2nd prince. Like come on! The first prince only get to appear as much on the ending. Still, I give credit to those fancy clothes.

not as good as the artwork

Well… The artwork is good; I like how the author drew the detail of the hair, and the clothes style. From the cover you’ll know directly that it tells about the kingdoms’ life, prince and princesses, just like in fairytales.

Although the princes are cute, but the plot… I don’t like it that much. When I first read it, I felt kinda like it. But it got on my nerves when she started liking the 2nd prince, and she changed her goal – at first she wanted to marry a rich prince, but then she suddenly became like other plain shoujo heroines.

There isn’t much romance though, since from the beginning Sei-Ann was curious about her real identity. The main plot doesn't take serious problem, and I think you'll like the great artwork

Reads Left to Right

Like all Korean manhwa, this reads from left-to-right and has artwork that remains very consistent from beginning to end in its quality and style. The plot is extremely predictable to the extent that while there are a few twists and turns, you should be able to see what it is all leading up to while you're still reading the first chapter. I still think it is worth reading if you like light fluffy stuff where the romantic aspect isn't beaten over your head, especially if you're not yet accustomed to reading manga [which does read from right-to-left.]

well im not gonna say that i was disappointed.. that would be too strong a word for what i was feelin.. well maybe i was a little.. because of the heroine. i was expecting her not to instantly fall for someone and then forgeetting that she is in love with him in the next chapters.. im expecting her to kind of cold hearted,and do whatever and whatever she can just to make one of the prince fell for her.. so i guess this is shoujo for you. very predictable and slightly overly sugary at times.. that it loses plot.

anyways.. i like the art. its like Meru Puri in a way.. and the dresses.. lovely!!~!

but not much character development.. and a bit yeah.. it made me smile because of its shoujoness.. so i think i havent wasted my time 🙂 )
