Mei-chan no Shitsuji

Description

Shinonome Mei remembers being rescued by a butler when she was a young girl. But did that really happen? When Mei's parents die in car accident, this butler, Rihito, reappears, wanting to take her to her grandfather.
Mei's grandfather is very wealthy and Mei turns out to be the heiress to his fortune and is forced to transfer to St. Lucia Academy, so that she can become a proper lady.
When Mei's childhood friend Kento hears about this, he decides to enroll in a butler school so that he can stay close to her.
Mei-chan falls in love with Rihito, her butler. Does Rihito love her back? In the meantime Kento, who is in love with Mei-chan, also isn't planning to sit back and do nothing.

This manga deserves a BIG FAT ZERO, not one.
First, the girl is still 13 and her grandfather encouraged a grown a$$ man to take her virginity by force "ra¶e".
Second, the girl Lucia or whatever is also F#$ked by the white and black boy even tho she was underaged (she was viewed as a complete H0) still the grandfather knew about everything and he still treated both girls as 6 dolls to be used by the two men white and black one. The grandpa really did not care about anything but when will those two girls be f#$ked?
Third, the main girl was se×ualized by the White and black men even tho she is a child. Not only her also Lucia was said to be BlH in h-eat, but another character also was shown to be wearing revealing cosplays even tho she is a teenager to entertain a grown man.

Fourth, STUPlD DRAMA, literally illogical!!! The black guy literally forgot everything about her just because of some psychological games? This is something that can be done by some black magic, not Hypnosis.

Fifth the main character girl personality is just ANNOYING+ SHE IS ugIy+ SHALLOW+SHE WANT TO BE F#$KED BY SOME GROWNA$$ DUDE, so literary she is not likeable at all!! How can boys fall in love with her? I don't know.
Sixth, I liked the live drama so I wanted to continue what happened after the arc of the drama, I wish I stopped, no wonder this manga was so bad, the mangaka is not good her next arc was just disrespectful, got some ignorant stereotypical images, resend some unpleasant stereotypes and wrong information about other countries and religions so uneducated. I had to stop it was like I disrespect myself. It was such a waste of time.

One thing I cannot stand about this manga is the art. Yeah, the butlers look alright, it it's the main character that's the problem.
Mei looks like a child and acts like one. It would be totally fine if the author drew her with a more matured body, but the art turns me off as it's as if the guys are lusting for a kid.
I don't get why the author gives the bad side characters good nice appropriate body but not Mei, so the whole story seemed like a bratty girl trying to woo her butler who does not seem to be interested at her for most times.
Everyone in this manga has shallow personalities, and there is so much drama going on!
Yes, I know the drama tag is there, but the drama made the story irrelevant and stupid. It gives off an unpleasant feeling whenever I read this manga, so I stopped, finally.
I have been reading the chinese scanlations, and the story will not be improving at all for the next chapters.
Please don't waste your precious time reading this, unless you like the drama with unpleasantness with the main character practically looking like a kid begging to be with her oh-so-sexy-butler.
I also hope that Rihito forgets about her and move on with his pathetic life.

I will just say... this series disgusts me. The main character, Mei, has the body and brains and maturity of a preadolescent. And despite that, she is extremely sexualized by the artist and viewed lustfully by at least (3!) different males, only one of whom is anywhere close to her age. I know this is escapist manga, but it gives me the chills:

There is a scene of Mei stripped down to her underwear. By a grown man who drugged her. There is also a kiss scene between Mei and Rihito, a 21-year-old.

The large age gap is not the problem.. the fact that the girl is an underdeveloped girl who's barely even a teenager is the problem. I believe the correct term is "hebephilia"... arguably a mental disorder.

There's a 4-year time skip at the end of volume 7, which makes the whole deal a little better... well... if you can forget all the really, really icky stuff going on before.

after 47 chapters of marathon, I found the series to be good. The art is also a plus point. However, the story really pissed me off. I can easily predict what will happen for the next 3-4 chapters beforehand, to the point that it is boring. The main heroine is too naive and sometimes indecisive as well. Overall, the series is definitely has lots of potential, despite the plain, predictable and (now and then) unrealistic plot.

i love this manga
mei chan is cute and strong , soooo likeable
i support mei and rhito
rhito has done sooo much for mei , he has loved mei since they first met when she was young and became a great butler at that , he chose mei as his perfect master a long time ago

rhito met mei chan first when she was small and has loved her for sooo long!!!
he does outrageous things for her but lost the battle and was hypnotised by his knew master,
while this happens mei has fun with kento!! i cant accept this, rhito loves her too much

The story has a lot of emotional baggage between the brothers Kento and Rihito but falls short on romance for Mei. Leaving you wondering what is going on with Mei and why isn't anything working out for her. But on the other hand, the side characters are fun to read about as they all have sprouting romances with their butlers. Poor Mei, hope she finds love soon.

The main character started out annoying. It was unbearable. But once you get past ten chapters or so you start to really like it. The art is amazing. Very cute. I like when the main character is flat chested. xDD I like Kenta better than Rihito. 0__o Is that odd? Maybe it's because Kenta is tsun-tsun?

Ok, so I think the story is good thus far. I guess that I'm just annoyed by that Lucia girl and her butler cuz they're both evil and mental. Doing stuff that's so creepy and using underhand methods to get Mei chan's butler, how low of them considering that Mei chan isn't doing anything to them so shouldn't they have more decency? I mean what kind of illness does that mental master and butler have? Also, I think Rihito is also kind of irritating. Falling into theirtrap like that. Unbelievable.

Just when I was about to start reading it, I get on the SMM website just to find out the series is being dropped. I'm still gonna give it a try, since I loved the drama..hope some other scanlation group picks this up!!!

urg i rely hope she ends up with Kento, it's such an amusing manga series, im gonna watch the drama too!!! Its also hard to tell who mei really likes which keeps you interested till to end just to find out urg!!! i really want to kno but most of the manga sites have finished uploading the series i'm starting to doubt the sites, every since onemanga had been closed down the uploading has been slow...might have to buy the series just to finish it. The story is so touching that it can make you cry in the beginning even thou it hasnt even gone to the climax yet
