Disappointing - Story Good, Writing Style Horrible

I couldn't read more than one volume of this, regardless of how good the anime was. The writing style of the novels is absolutely dreadful. I don't know if it happened during the translation process or the author can't convey his story properly (though it's most probably the latter since translators kept changing), but when I started reading the novels I couldn't believe that they are part of the same series. It was like I was reading a work of poetry. The story develops real slow. Every person's philosophical musings are described in great detail. The anime seriously turned it around 180 degrees. Even curiosity about what happens ahead in the story isn't enough to make me continue reading this.

I enjoy this series, however I got a bone to pick with the author's writing style. Its too rhetorical and the dialogue sequences are way too long. The slap-stick gag is also out of place as well. Its fine from time to time, but its way overplayed now.

Ryner And Ferris

i swear ive been trolled so much in this light novel like OMG. Im here like "FERRIS X RYNER!!" and the writer decides to troll me. In the text, Ryner practically CONFESSES to Ferris. Im here all about to tear up and about to die from happiness. NEXT THING YOU KNOW, ITS RYNER'S DAD IN DISGUISE!! My heart legit did 10 jumps and i teared up. DONT TROLL ME! I pray to the dango gods above for a RynerXFerris. Keifer man, stop interfering!

Well, when i watch the anime, which part of densetsu no yusha no densetsu, i'm very curious with the next part
so i read the light novel

the anime give very great curiosity and the flow from light novel (so far) is very great,
the comedy and seriousness is become one,

and what i want to know, the love triangle between ryner, and his 2 girls (you will know when watch the anime 😀 )
and I really hope IT WILL NOT BECOME SHOUNEN AI or YAOI

if you watch the anime, there will be more of this action :x

well for now, i encourage you to watch the anime, and continue read this light novel
(and even better if the manga come out)
