Description

Mary meets a death metal group's vocalist and falls in love with him. Although he is very handsome his personality is not that good. Will those two finally become a couple or will Mary's logic, that it's telling her to not get involved with him, prevail?

Note: This was originally a webtoon at Daum. It was adapted into a K-Drama under the same name in November 2010.

Too bad i'm a fan of Full House. Saw some of the drama highlights that starring Jang Geun Suk and was rl happy to know this is by the same author with FH, but the manhwa just isn't it. Bleh T.T

well this is the first time i read a normal love story that happens in the real life so it was a good one. i really enjoyed reading it,. i will be waiting for more updates. so keep up your good work.....

Honestly, the female lead really drags. She cannot express herself, is immature, is judgmental, and is quite rude. I was not a fan of her character and I really didn't understand the male lead's persistence in the relationship. It felt it was just love at first sight, and I'm not a fan of substance-less relationships like that. Might be good for others, but for me, I didn't understand the chemistry between leads.

I saw the drama adaption some time ago before starting to read the actual webtoon origin today, so I might compare both versions a bit. Also, this comment will be continued after reading some more in Korean later.

Let's start with the artwork - Although the drawing style and character design reminds me of the late 90's, it's well done and somehow fitting. I had a different image of the characters, but the original characters are a tiny little bit more stable in their personalities so far. 장근석 and 문근영 did an okay job, but still something seemed missing and in the webtoon better expressed IMO.

The storyline itself comes up with a refreshing setting, yet tends to show some weaknesses and jumps between mature dialogues & cliche-lines. It is hard to say, if the story can keep my attention later on, when dramatic issues arise and with those "heavier" contents for the interactions. The relationship up to now (Ch. 20) seemed problematic and over a longer term hard to believe in. Sighs.

All in all the webtoon seemed nontheless more mature to me and less mainstream, but the drama isn't popular for no reason - and the changes in the storyline also won't have been for nothing? Not sure, how to rate this Manhwa for now and that's why there's no result to announce from my side. Kkk.

Okay. My first impressions of this web comic? It's brilliant. The art is amazing. The characters are hilarious. The male lead is soo hot (and lovable! I just want to ruffle his hair and give him a mega hug >..<) and the plot is quite ... exceptional.

As a death metal fan, myself, I was surprised to find a comic about it. It's not your typical manhwa, and is definitely one I'd recommend reading. I even convinced my brother to read it, and now we're both anticipating the next release =D

Edit: I FINALLY watched the drama! And loved it all the way through <3 Jang Geun Suk portrays Kang Mu Kyul very well, although his personality does slightly differ than the comic 🙂 And Mae-Ri is sooooo adorable! I just want to ruffle her hair and squeeze her really tight ^^ WATCH IT. NOW. AND LOVE IT.

This is one of my favourite manhwas! Even though some people say it's "predictable" I still think it's very will written and drawn :]

If i am not mistaken the male lead rumored to be the one and only, Jang Geun Suk.
I simply can't wait for this drama to air. We'll see how Jang Geun Suk (hopefully) will portray the male lead in the drama. He always gives me a surprise in whatever he does.
